I was just thinking the same thing!! Up until now, I have not bought any of the diamond deco packages. I had plenty of diamonds, and there was nothing offered in the packages that I absolutely had to have. Since the advent of the expansion permit scrolls, I've burned through quite a few diamonds and plan to hold off buying any until the next special package is offered.
...that being said, I've opened all the special plots that interest me in terms of deco; so I've quit Derbying which is the only reliable way of acquiring permits. I'm not even opted in this week for the "enhanced" permit week. I have enough diamonds for everyday farming and the game will give me enough to keep me solvent if no special diamond package shows up, or if it doesn't include anything I find tempting.
I wish the special decos were less "random". For example, I probably would have purchased diamonds to get the blooming wisteria tree if it had been offered in Hay Day's spring rather than fall and I would definitely get the blooming acacia tree now that we have the sanctuary. To every thing, there is a season...except in Hay Day. If a special diamond package comes up in the next few months, I'm hoping it is fall/winter related.
Let's just say I liked the pencil fence for in town...
I only use (bought) diamonds for deco, not for playing, so it's safe to say it's going to be a long time before I *need* to buy any.
That's not to say I won't, if I like the deco they have with them!
I'm personally not a fan of the deco diamond packages. I'd prefer a decent % off diamonds.
Meh. I'm on a self-imposed diamond buying strike until puzzle pieces become less scarce! ;)
I usually buy diamonds every so often when I run out but I have in the past bought them early because I like the deco so much I had to have it. I would do it again for the right deco. I am not holding my breath for one but if it came it would be welcome.:)
It will arrive, eventually. I prepare for end of August which would follow the pattern most likely.

Oooooo, I would LOVE some flowering trees. I also wish they'd offer the hydrangeas. And I'm totally open to expansion pack specials. End of August? Can't wait to see if the pattern continues.
