I have just wasted six diamonds on speeding up wool production. This is crazy! The screen is so sensitive we can't control spending diamonds. You have been asked time after time. Please do something!

This happened to me all the time, just now, game took away six diamonds from me!
Please fix the problem with the diamonds. I know so many people have asked for this, but you really need a button to confirm the diamonds before they are spent. I really enjoy the game but I have lost over 50 diamonds in the last week "speeding up" things by mistake that I didn't even need. I know you do this so people will just by more diamonds but I will not purchase them to replace the ones I lost. I have a small child and just can't do that. I really enjoy playing the game but if this continues I will stop. It is very frustrating to save diamonds for so long and then just lose them in seconds for something you didn't even need.
I spent 25 diamonds speeding up a tree by complete accident, and 7 diamonds on a stupid pig about a month or two ago, and idk how many countless times I've spent them on crops. This is ridiculous. I want my 25 diamonds back! It takes me about a month to find that many and now I lost a months worth of diamonds! I refuse to play this f*ckin game until I get those back and a confirmation button before spending any diamonds. It's ridiculous spending that many diamonds without being confirmed.
The number of diamonds being wasted by inadvertently speeding up things is becoming a joke! Today I wasted 8 diamonds speeding up the sheep while feeding them!
Please Supercell can you introduce a confirmation of the use of our diamonds? or is it a marketing ploy?:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Omgooooosh I'm very irritated with this right now, it's still not fixed, and I just lost 40something diamonds because I barely bumped the button on accident. I'm sick of it and this one thing makes me not want to play.
We have a diamond confirmation button now. You must have just searched and stumbled upon too old a thread. :)
http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...rmation-button shows you how to set the confirmation and where it does not apply.
We have a diamond confirmation button. I turned mine off for the fishing event and forgot to turn it back on... Mistake, the cat just spent diamonds speeding up a sheep when he put his foot on the ipad! Oops.
It would be nice if the confirmation also applied to the dialog that pops up when you have insufficient ingredients. I've lost at least 30 diamonds to that prompt which has a very large button.
There IS a confirmation for that. A rather large one in fact that is impossible to miss (and you admit to seeing and reading it). It IS that very large button surrounded by that dialog, which you tapped anyway.
A large Popup Confirmation titled "Not Enough Resources" with a message underneath "Get the missing resources and do the action by paying diamonds" with a picture of whatever items (and amounts) you are short of with a large yellow button below that showing how many diamonds will be spent and the words "to start the action". That's a much more obvious confirmation than the Double Tap. It's huge and very clearly states that you'll be spending diamonds...written on it in several ways. How is this not understood to be a confirmation?
This Popup Confirmation is, as I said, huge...the same size as when you tap your barn or silo to view your inventory. It's been around on several things (such as purchasing missing items) since well before the Double Tap Confirmation was instituted. This is a much, much more visible and understandable confirmation than the DTC, so it's not understandable to me why folks either don't read it and tap away anyhow, or think that SC is joking and tap anyway and are then stunned to find they've spent diamonds. My apologies is this sounds rude, but it just doesn't make sense for folks to complain about spending diamonds when they chose to ignore a confirmation as big as a truck or request a confirmation be put on top of a confirmation.
I totally agree that it is annoying that waste diamonds is too easy. It makes i refuse to buy more.
Cricks, no it doesn't sound rude, you are quite right to point out that the big yellow box is hard to miss! And as you have always pointed out, slowing down and playing carefully is the best thing we players can do to avoid accidents as much as possible.
I hope my next bit doesn't sound rude either because I sincerely don't wish to be so.
The pop up box is not actually a confirmation, it is information. We are asked to treat it as confirmation and this is good advice as a workaround, but this is not an adequate solution to the issue because most occurrences of the 'missing resources' button are by default more likely to be when a player is in the middle of an action (i.e. sowing crops, adding to the production queue, filling an order, etc).
In such circumstances, we are likely to be mid-swipe or tap, and not ready for the pop up to appear, which is why we may be tapping already when it does, and if our tap is unlucky enough to hit the spend button then we can lose anything from a couple of diamonds to a couple of hundred. Bearing in mind that I've already agreed that slowing the pace can help, the issue can still happen anytime, and a double tap would certainly be the most logical and effective way of protecting a player from this.
You will never hear me ask for a triple tap, I totally understand the folly of it, but as the double tap is in place already in several places it is more logical to extend it - even if it is optional - to the rest of the game. Tom and the boat/train have also tripped people up in the same way as they are inside information pop ups. It is inevitable that even the most careful of players will still get caught eventually, don't you think? You and I have both been caught, for example, when we momentarily blinked or something, and we have both thought/spoken a lot on this topic
Supercell should just go for it, trust us with our own diamonds and we might spend a little more happily and impulsively, who knows? :)
