As far as I can see, the special obstacles have become the BIGGEST HYPE of CLASH OF CLANS as of date, I don't think it was that much of popular back in the day, but since the last couple of years, it's picked up drastically and literally people would even " KILL " for special obstacles on their base! :saywhat:
I first got to know of clash of clans in 2012 when it first came out (there was constant adverts of the game on the apple store) but it was in 2014 I decided to get the game on the mobile, and I have been hooked on since. :rolleyes:
Regretfully, I missed out on the special obstacles from 2012-2014, seeing the hype for the obstacles now I wished I had the game from the beginning. :(
So, I wouldn't of missed out on them.
The funny thing I have noticed from the recent update (5 years update), is that you no longer need to log on to the game during the event to get the cake to spawn.
On previous even occasions, you had to log on else you would loose out on the opportunity of getting a special obstacle on your village.
I have witnessed this on a friend's village. Shame, they didn't have this from the past occasions,so it would have helped out on some people who missed out because they couldn't log on. :facepalm:
Somehow, due to popular demand, I can only see a future, where supercell might give players a chance to purchase them for an equivalent cost. :blush:
