Hangs at Transition Screen

I pressed the "return" button when CoC is searching for a game and it hangs. Could it be im disconnected from the server?
Usually happens when im on 3g or LTE.

I can exit the game by pressing the home button but thats not the point. I should be able to return to my village when I press the "return" button at the "searching for a match" screen.

Found the solution. The problem lies with the external sd card which affects the data nework consistency, resulting in disconnection of server.

Anyone facing this problem should dismount your external sd card.

I'm sorry- I assumed when you said "hangs" in your first point that you meant you game totally freezes, I didn't realize you meant something else.
