I had been scrolling through my friends list and noticed quite a number of them had a puzzle piece, it had me wondering why weren't I seeing one on my wharf :smirk:
the puzzle piece boats reset on mondays when the mail man / wheel of fortune truck comes. it will be the first boat AFTER that happens. i always leave a boat sitting there until then and send it away, so the next boat will be a puzzle piece boat.Quote:

I, too, had 3 puzzle pieces today. I was doing a boat task. First was normal, last three were puzzle boats. I'm wondering if its connected to boat tasks or just an increase in the number they're giving us.
For those of you who also got three puzzle pieces, were you doing a boat task?
I was not on a boat task when I got my 3, for what it is worth. Still only the 3 so far.

Hi there, I am the same. 3 puzzle boats this morning. I am using diamonds to call them, seems to be every other one.
i am only calling the puzzle boats, but might b more if you pay diamonds for each one.

A hoodmate swore she got a third puzzle boat too. I kept saying it was impossible lol. I guess she did so now I must go apologize for my doubt.
Called a few boats after getting 3 puzzle boats, but got no more. So not sure if there is a pattern, or just max of 3 today.

Last week I said to myself, I am sure I have had 3 puzzle boats but didn't come here to ask if anyone else did. I have the third puzzle waiting for the boat, so there has definitely been a change, which is great ;)
My third puzzle boat is in the queue. The pattern today was PP, PP, NP, PP (so far). And they've all been fairly easy boats.
It is not just boats which are giving more pps this week. I got my first pp from a mystery red box yesterday - I didn`t realise boxes gave them so it was a big surprise.
I then got a second from the sea box on my farm this evening. With the three from boats today that makes 5 in 2 days.
Yesterday I got one from the red box too. They seem to have changed things up or else it is just a phase in the cycle :saywhat: Time will tell!Quote:

It's about time they were a little more common, the whole sanctuary won't mean anything to us unless we can collect these puzzle pieces at a reasonable rate.
And it's entirely possible SuperCell will drop another animal or two in the next update as well, so these pieces need to keep flowing.

The third puzzle piece boat was not a glitch.
And weekly allowance is still 2 pieces a week from boats.
Each month the first boat of the month is forced to be a puzzle piece boat.
And each week you get 2 puzzle piece boats.
The day reset is at 10 am Helsinki time zone.
Normally there must be at least one and at most two non puzzle piece boats between your boats. Examples: (PP - NP - PP) OR (PP - NP - NP - PP)
So since 1st day of the week and the first day of the month overlapped we got 3 puzzle piece boats, also having 2 puzzle piece boats back to back was a bug that game designer didn't want.
BTW someone asked earlier "if you send away a puzzle piece boat, will you get extra puzzle piece boats and still receive a puzzle piece?" the answer is no. ☺️

Sadly, my three puzzle pieces went to three different animals. I'm also disappointed that this wasn't a intentional gift from SC. But at least my boats were easy -- no dairy, sugar or lobsters! And I completed a boat task. ;)

I was thrilled to have an extra puzzle piece boat. As others mentioned, I thought maybe SC was back from vacation & was actually going to do something to improve the rate of acquiring puzzle pieces. The lack of puzzle pieces & extremely low rate of their appearance is beyond absurd! In over four years of play, I've never seen SC be as stingy with the ability to acquire something as they have been with the puzzle pieces & land permits. I've seen many players slow down, including me, & almost stop playing the past two years. This isn't encouraging or motivating to anyone considering whether they should play very much. The sanctuary hasn't been a very interesting update, and I'm starting to ignore it & not care whether it grows or not.

Yes, exactly! I gathered that they were trying to make the update more satisfying by trying to figure out a way to stretch out the acquisition of new things. But as you say, it doesn't make sense. It has only made the sanctuary frustrating. Frustration doesn't make me want to play more, but less. If they want to add motivation to play, then they should have made the sanctuary more work to keep up with once the player has acquired it. They could have made it such that we have to feed & groom our animals daily or visitors won't ask to see them. They could have added land in the town/sanctuary and a way to expand, decorate, & arrange the sanctuary better. There are a few decorations, but not much. Give the animals toys or things to climb on, so they do cute little animated tricks. Even though people complain, the best way to make an update satisfying is by making it more daily upkeep. It makes it harder to leave the game for prolonged periods & come back. That's what the developers should want to avoid because when people leave for prolonged periods, there's a greater chance they won't come back.Quote:
