Linking Android Devices

Hello!

I read the Linking Device instructions on game, but had no luck linking a second device. This is what I did:

1st Device:

1. Sign-in with my Google account on my 1st device.
2. Installed Clash of Clans
3. Played Tutorial
4. After tutorial ended, signed in to my Google+ account.
5. Re-synced my Google Account on my 1st device, just in case.

2nd Device:

6. Sign-in with my Google account on my 2nd device.
7. Synced everything (Apps included)
8. Installed Clash of Clans
9. Run Clash of Clans.

The tutorial appeared. I played through the tutorial, and now I have access to the Game Settings, but I'm afraid of signing in to my Google+ account here, I may loose my old city.

What I'm doing wrong? Or should I just sign-in inside the game also in the 2nd device?

When you sign into google+ in the game on the second device it'll prompt you to load your account. If it doesn't bring that up then something went wrong trying to sync it on your first device.

Can you try doing the linking again using the steps in this thread? They may be easier to follow then the in- game instructions.

I have problems connecting my 2nd device (which is android), whenever I tap the "disconnected" button of google+, it restarts the game and when I checked my settings, it still indicates that I am disconnected.

Please help.

I think this is a common problem. I am experiencing the same thing. I click "G+ Disconnected", nothing happens. I click it a 2nd time, it brings up "Welcome <Name>" and restarts the game. Upon restart, the button still reads "G+ Disconnected".

I'm starting a fresh game on Android, so t isn't critical for syncing purposes, but I would like to be linked to G+ insure I do not lose my progress in the game.

I'm running A HTC Rezound with 1 GB memory, 720x1280 resolution, and Android 4.0.3

PS ... After reading up a bit more, it may be that we need to be @ town hall 4?

I hope someone can help.

@slikk I have friends who just started the game and their link worked fine without reaching town hall lvl 4.

I did this on my gs3 it works great! But you can only connect one android device so be aware.

Yeah, For some unknown reason, my g+ decided to work today. It does reboot the game, and will work under TH4. When it connected it brought up all my achievements, logging them in I presume. I now have a green "g+ connected" button in settings.

what did you do? pls help.

Update- this is now a "known" issue that unfortunalty many players are experiencing. SC is aware of this and will be looking into it. Thanks for your patience as all the "kinks" are worked out.

I am going to close this so we don't have multiple threads of this nature going.
