Fishing lures expansion so expensive

Should i I just leave alone my fishing area a few days to get more full on nets and lures ? How in the world did u guys fill and stack in this area. I have all spots open and several times don't even have a net or lure to use.

Not wrong... I have been doing it for a long time! There is no wrong in hay day.

i find the best way to save is to not use while saving.

Same for example, axes or saws. Don't use them and they will accumulate


You could ease up on the derby tasks... Very hard on the stash, lol!

The Summer theme Derby that immediately followed the fishing event seriously depleted my store of lures, but it allowed me to stock up on lobster and duck traps.

I make sure that I queue up lures when my tackle box is full. That has been true no matter how big my tackle box was. (Currently 70.) That allows for stacking lures. It drives me nuts when I forget to queue the lures before I deploy any traps. I also try to have at least a few (ideally at least 6) traps in my tacklebox so that I can deploy them to make some space to collect traps rather than having to use lures.

I love fishing events. They allow the rest of my farm to run normally while I stock up on fillets and stock up traps. After the fishing event, I fill all my fishing holes with lobster and duck traps. I have all 12 open and I have all 6 slots in both the lobster pool and duck salon open--although I used the same technique when I had fewer holes/slots. While running traps, I make lures and stack them since I have plenty of fillets from the event.

The lure/net slots are ridiculously expensive. The only reason I can think of is that it costs us nothing (unless we use vouchers for lures or diamonds for mystery nets which isn't required) to make things in them unlike other machines which require that we use stuff that we've made/grown. I have worked my way up to 6 slots in each of them, but I did that very slowly over many levels. I happily existed with 4 of each until Derby tasks made having more lures desirable.

If you have the netmaker operating continuously AND the lure maker you can easy make stock.

If you make and use nets, and you have got 12 (all fishing spots unlocked) it will take you some 20 hours to use 12 nets. In the time you are using the nets, you can make new lures for the fishing area AND nets and so on for the fishing area. Overnight i put both machines full (both not maxed out because of costs) and i maintain enough materials.

Oké i'm not always fishing, but it works :D

I have 5 slots in both the lure and net makers and find that is fine for me on the whole. My tackle box is 235, always full with lures stacked. The recent summer derby reduced my supply and for the first time I had none stacked but it is all back to normal now.

I've never really understood why the prices here are so outrageously high.

Sure, you don't need ingredients; but you need a lot of time and you are limited by the number of fishing holes the game has.

Most players will have more than enough with 4 to 6 slots. Getting 7 or more is high cost with little to no return.

The only time I would ever consider getting 7 or more is if the game added more fishing holes.
