Dear Hay Day team,
Not everyone can play every single day. I couldn't play much myself when the Puzzle Piece Boat event took place, so I kind of missed the whole thing. Please consider this when planning one-day events!
If it's not possible, please increase the PP boats. 2 PP boats per week for active gameplay is just silly. Consider rewarding players, who play your game for hours every day, with more active ways to find puzzle pieces.

Another puzzle event would be terrific - certainly with some advance warning maybe? - but it would also be great if rather than the same sad 5 diamonds, we all got 10 puzzle pieces for completing the global event. I bet a lot more people would participate if that was the case.

I 'get' that the idea that the animals aren't supposed to be 'instant gratification', that's fine, but what SC doesn't seem to understand is that we want active play, not a waiting game. Yes, we want Goals & Achievement Rewards, so give us a way to play to earn them. People really don't want to be sitting around waiting for them to just drop. 1/2 on Derby then the luck of Red Boxes or the wheel are just not active play and it's just boring waiting for them.
Though as SC never really reads this section, I guess I'm just preaching to the converted. <sigh>

Agree that putting pp in as prizes for boat event makes too much sense for it not to happen. The only reason I can think of for the way SC set this up is for the special one day events, which I guess must be a significant money maker.
I'll second what SmallChange said. I want something to work towards. There's too much waiting for random stuff to happen. I'd love puzzle pieces to be more like vouchers. Vouchers show up randomly but if I need more I can also work for them by doing more boats or blue truck orders.
I would also also love another puzzle piece event, I was traveling during the last one and only managed a few boats.
I'd love another one! :) I don't really go all out on any boat events as I hardly ever have the products ready to speed up a boat, but 4 in a day is better than 4 a week? :p
Interesting, isn't it. Normally, players complain about the constant requirement to use diamonds. Here, though, folks are eager for the opportunity, and SC seems to be typically deaf.
I would love another puzzle weekend. I finally figured out how to make it work too late to profit from the last one. Would look forward to another chance.
As others have already stated, there's a difference between working towards a goal, and being slowly fed small, boring pieces. Two boats and two horseshoe prizes (which may/may not requre shuffles to obtain), is b.o.r.i.n.g. in the extreme. And for God's sake, the next step is to figure out something to actually DO with the sanctuary.
clearly there is demand for another puzzle piece event.
i'd also be open to or perhaps more interested in a more standard-type of event, with puzzle pieces as rewards. for example and event like the current global boat event, where you get rewards at the 5 specific thresholds. each threshold could reward one or more puzzle pieces. it could even be a global event with global prize, like a bonus of extra puzzle pieces (say an extra 3, etc).
also, just because boats are one of the methods of delivery for puzzle pieces, i don't think that a standard-type event needs to or should be limited to just boats. for instance, i'd like to see a truck event with puzzle piece threshold rewards. a lot of people, myself included, do NOT like boats, and personally i am not incredibly eager to spend hundreds of diamonds calling boats early as some others are, nor do i seem to be in as much of a hurry as others.
i do wonder what the viability of these events will be going forward. sure most everyone is now really wanting a puzzle piece event because most people don't have all the animals... but as soon as people start completing more of the sanctuary, how long is it until we see a bunch of threads 'waaaah another puzzle piece event? i already have all the animals, why participate in something i can't get rewards for'...
It is very strange isn't it, it just suggests they very rarely consider what we want. Just look at the last update the only 'community requested' feature, was mucking up derby. Derby changes are pretty low on the player wish list.Quote:

We know you all enjoyed the puzzle boat event and we are really happy you liked it!
It's not ruled out to do this again, but we will wait for the whole team to be back from holidays to discuss this and other options we have in mind.

Shadyacre is spot on. There is no reason for the puzzle pieces to be limited to boats and horseshoes. ITs taking WAY too long to get an animal. (Especially hate the way its randomized to which animal it goes to.) I don't do much on the global events at all. I don't need the puny prizes, and I'm sorry but 5 diamonds is completely underwhelming.
I would, however, go for puzzle pieces. And yes, that interest will end with the full expansion of the wildlife area, which is why SC should be constantly updating the game.
It IS a business, and if you want customers coming back you have to continually offer something new, fun, and exciting. There's a reason we aren't all still using the first version of our Smartphones. Its not like they wouldn't still make a phone call.
