Has anyone done a "Most profitable item" spreadsheet yet? Broken down by how much profit per minute of production, selling in the roadside stand. Or something of that sort? I cannot find a list on the forum. If not, I will create one here in the next day or so. :)
That'd be a good idea! Another thing to consider is the ease of selling. My gut feeling says it is either bread (when sold in bulk) or cow's milk. Material needed is just wheat and/or corn. Every time I advertise either one in DD, it's gone really fast.
Would love to see the profit by the minute, regardless.

Wow. I'm scanning through the spreadsheet, it seems that the the top 5 most profitable items are Pizza, Baked Potato, Blackberry Muffin, Red Berry Cake and Bread (from most profitable to less profitable). Least profitable items are fruits from the bushes and strawberry.
The spreadsheet is very interesting. I'm wondering whether the time taken to produce something is the only valid criterion? For instance, a blackberry muffin has blackberries which take a long time to harvest, thereby being reflected in the price. In other words, the ingredients in produce all have their own worth and should that somehow be reflected in calculating the profit?
My maths isn't up to this but it is just a thought :)
The most expensive item I´ve come across so far is the tomatoe soup. I sold 10 for 4780 coins, so 478 per bowl.
Diamond rings are the most expensive at my level. They will sell for 705 each.
There is another spreadsheet floating around here somewhere. Mzmflo (sp? sorry) did it after she achieved TT2. It didn't take time into account, as far as I remember, but listed the ingredients needed for each product and looking at that, you could also see which is most profitable (kinda like which uses cheap ingredients but sells at the most once made into the finished product). There are different approaches to figuring out what is most profitable, I think.
