Jam, Juice, Lobster...I swear the Boats get VILE as soon as an Event starts.
...Event or no event, that went straight down the river, along with the previous one - fish burgers, blankets, lobster.
I always complete Events, always, but given we are back to 5 diamonds for this Event, the Personal Rewards never seem to include anything amazing (permits, puzzle pieces, planks) and the boats are vile, I might just see how it goes and try not to let my OCD tendencies over rule!
Bread and carrot juice aren't bad at all. All those items can be made quickly
A royal pain in the, uhmmmm.... barn if it is full, though.
I agree that the boats that require dozens of a particular product are hideous. I never keep that much of anything in stock. (Comparatively small barn for my level.)
My first event boat was a two-in-a-row for potato soup. Fortunately, I had used a Tom booster for the last bowl needed for the previous boat which left me the 8 I needed for the second boat. Two-in-a-row boats are not popular at Dibley Fields especially when they want dairy or sugar.
I had two goat cheese boats in a row. Lucky I have tom or I might have had to skip them.
I look forward to starting the event - when the boats quit asking jams, duck products or cheeses.
Worse yet is when you have two items that require same machine. I don't do boats much anymore except to get puzzle pieces....I would rather do town
5 boats asking for jam, goat cheese toast and the like. The prizes? Green voucher, axes and saws. For that, and the offending 5 diamonds, I will only fill a boat that asks for wheat, corn, pumpkin, red hats or soy dogs
I use free Tom on bonus cards to get blankets, pillows, chocolate, top hats etc. & stockpile
For the stuff where I just can't get materials or make the stuff fast enough.
I've been getting frustrated with boat too. I don't know how many puzzle piece boats passed by without fully being done! That's not fair. But oh, well.
Has somebody found out what happens if you don't fill a puzzle boat? Will there be another one until you have gotten your 2 puzzle pieces? Or are there only 2 opportunities per week?
