My guess is they are going to try to push clans running offensively lopsided bases into matchups with other clans running offensively lopsided bases. For some, it'll be business as usual. For others, it's gonna get ugly.Quote:

I think.. finally we are getting our best over matchmaking system.. which will demolish the engineering bases.. i too have an engineering base.. but i dont like to play that.. but for war it is necessary untill now.. but when the new matchmaking system is implemented in game. I stop playing that account...thank you supercell.. finally, when the new matchmaking system is implemented????

I also have the feeling that they already changed something. In the last 2 wars we faced an almost exact combination.
#1 max th11
#2 max th11 offense, minimax 9 on defense
#3: 9.75
#4: 9.5
#5: th9
#6/7: 8.75
rest th8 and below
Our side:
#1: max 11
#2: max 10.75
#3: 9.75
#4: th9
#5: th9
rest th8 and below
So basically it is an easy win: Bash the 8.75 and the 9 with th9s, bash the 9.75s with our 9.75, one th11 attack against their #2 and then go for safe on #1. Even if we fail twice getting only 1 star chances are good we have a win on percentage.
The previous war was the same only with 1 more th11 and th9 on both sides.
I'm not too sure that they have changed matchmaking.
I war by myself (I'm a level 7 clan) and my last two wars were so mismatched that the first war they (level 1 clan) gave up at 12 stars, and the war that is finishing now they (level 4) basically gave up at three stars.
The other clans did suck, though, so that may be why... LOL.
This is an easy fix. Stop running engineered bases and you will be less likely to see engineered bases, even before they institute the new matchmaking system. Ask any engineered clan and they will tell you that they mostly only match with engineers already. You can't complain about engineered bases if you are running them yourself.
This is not what me and my clan are experiencing. We don't have any engineered bases and most of our matches are against engineered clans.Quote:
