easy solution -> Kick engineered bases from your clan and you have one group of fair play people who enjoy wars :)

At least they are doing something. It might take a while to get it right but any change is good right? So what if it takes longer to search, as long as that defenceless 11 at bottom spot doesnt get a chance vs our clan im a happy chap.

So many people slating SC for not nerfing engineering but I think this is an indirect nerf. The casual engineers and those who chose to try and even the playing field will either get bored losing all the time to more experienced people or see the the MM is being fair to other clans and will gradually stop trying to skew the MM (in my opinion).

If u dont fix the first bases ITS A WASTE OF TIME. 1 TH11 VS 2 TH11. OR 3 TH11 VS 4-5 TH11 ITS ALWAYS A LOST WAR. AYWAYS!! We have 10 wars lost this years always because enemy has 1 th11 more than us ( 10 of 18 lost war in 4 years). And always they many th3 bases.(Engineers aside)

Darian, thanks for letting us know the limited info. I dont understand the negative responses on your post. It seems to me you are making it clear SC is looking to implement change that allows for engineering to exist while trying to eliminate mismatches. Also, I get from the post that this requires a whole new approach in programming and if I read it well it seems this is actually in a stage where it may already been tested but still being tweeked.
The near future update is typical info but can you give a bit more on how near future? Are we talking weeks, months or next year at the earliest?

As a fellow player(was), expect for the worst and hope for the best. I've been around and experienced imo few of the disappointments SC released over the past years. There's no guarantee that the changes would work as intended so do expect it to be set back a couple of weeks to months at most

Thanks to Darian for bringing the message about the upcoming changes in CW matchmaking.Seems a smart move by SC to try to match engineers with engineers.
I uninstalled COC after the BB update but might very well return to play wars again if Sc gets this right.Seems like a win-win situation for everybody,in which everybody can keep playing the way he/she wants.
If for some reason the engineers won't like to war against other engineers,i am sure they understand why the other players(casual, rushers, maxxers, etc.)don't like it either.
Either way, i hope SC can implement the changes as soon as they are ready, and bring back fun in wars again.It can bring me back, so i am sure there are others like me as well.Bring it on,SC!:thumbsup:

I would like to see a 5 vs 5 war, this will help for those who starts a new clan....

When is this change coming? In a few months, weeks or days? You should have eliminated engineering, would have saved you a lot of time and the lost revenue would be regained anyway. Funny how you're ready to destroy the game, waste your resources to fulfill the childish needs of people who were trying to game your system.
