Clan War Matchmaking Improvements

there's always one favour sided.....
unless it's a full th 11 maxed clan.....

lesser player being to play
lesser clan doing war

it's show good progress I thought....
I know some good clan with heavy offence
they're struggle

the harm already done.....
the more bigger problem is lesser and lesser player and clan doing war.....

seems like many stop warring with all the mismatches. We are reaching that point ourselves.

it seems, the essential ingredient in war mm is luck. The only consistent thing so far about the two wars my brand new clan has fought is.....both opposing clans were from El Salvador. I am singlehandedly taking on the whole country!

You have level 1 infernos as a th11.. that qualifies yourself as an engineered base too

i have max accounts and engineered accounts, 11 in total, so please don't be so condescending as to say that I "made a choice to blindly upgrade everything without thinking about it".

how would you engineered accounts perform if sc decided on a whim to give no war weight to infernos and eagles? You might not seem so smart then. They have obviously changed a lot of weights recently, unfortunately with the result that mismatches have increased, not decreased.

If no one had an advantage, why would anyone upgrade troops, heroes or buildings? What about different base layouts? Engineering is just another way of getting an advantage within the rules.

Engineering is done to gain an advantage in war, it's one of many tools such as upgrading heroes, troops or using a good layout. It's the same reason that you search and search while farming (your own words).
War MM is working fine :)

the point I was making was, two wars, two very different matches. One in my favour, one against.

thank you for pointing out that lvl1 infernos on a th11 is "engineering". I did know that, it didn't actually happen by accident. I dropped the infernos when sc announced that clans would be matched according to style of play. My intention was to take them to max so as to make sure I fell in the maxer camp rather than engineer camp. With the chaos currently taking place with mm, I've stopped till some semblence of order returns. Same with x bows on my th10's. I feel like I have been burned by sc so far and obviously, once in place, they can't be undone.

Matchmaking doesnt work at all. Out fresh th9's and th8's are facing max th9's now. Fix it. Reverse this update.

I disagree about war MM working fine & it seems like ( I'm not sure) most agree on this thread there is a issue. Even Supercell said it's a work in progress. To me that means there is a issue. I do agree with you agreeing with me that Engineering is done to gain a advantage. But I think are definitions differ. I compare Engineering to the Steroid Base ball error. It was not against rules at the time but it was a ADVANTAGE. So I guess will agree to disagree.. :)

Another war has ended for us and it has been another mismatch of TH11s. Somehow we still managed to tie them but lost on %. The % completely earned at the expense of their extra TH11 hits.

We're spinning again tomorrow night, and are recruiting (open clan) until we spin to try and fill out our #s a little for the war.

I finally finished my level 11 walls so I hit go on TH11 myself. Maybe it'll help us round out matchmaking with another account at TH11..... or not. Who knows.....

Actually that would be interesting. That's how most sports work (league style matching)

Have all the rushers quit. We used to match quickly with clans that were rushed now no matches at all.
