When you say "great matchups" are you meaning great for your clan or the matchup is fair? If it's the former, which I'm guessing it is, it's still evidence of a broken MM system. In my experience, seeing multiple perfect wars like that is a sign of an unbalanced war.Quote:

My observations are that skill wins wars. Those who are great attackers and make second and third accounts stil know how to attack. Lazy people who 'rush' and engineer without learning the basics of attacking / tanking / patience etc.. lose. They may have elevated troops but often that isnt enough. Our "engineers" do more with lessor accounts because of skill. An engineered clan is one thing - it can be beaten - but an engineered clan with skill.. its over.
Sadly.. when I take a look at our account there are 2 of us with combined 9 accounts.. and then the rest. We have 31 people in our clan and barely manage 15 person wars.
I hope that explains our situation. I kind of feel sorry for the current and previous opponents.. its a waste of 48 hours for them..
It is hard to see clear evidence of better or worse matches with new system here in forums, every time I look for new war match feedback I get disappointed by the lack of information each of the complaining posts have.
It is my guess SC does analyze the quality of the match and not the final score at the end of war.
My opinion is that it is just best to assess a war by looking at the whole package, and not simply comparing bases vs bases or "war weight" values, but overall viable attacks and defenses of both clans.
Yes.. great for us.. but not great for MM. (There was a hint of sarcasm in there). I don't think it is working as we should not be matched with the opponents we have been. Like I said, I do feel bad for them. We only had one perfect war.. in ten.. but our streak is 10 (will be 11 tonight).Quote:

I don't know what more information you want? There have been countless posts where people are detailing every aspect of the war map without going into a full on dissertation. I have gone so far as listing every base with a thought as to whether it's engineered, balanced, or just plain rushed, while also giving hero and defense levels. Inside that kind of information one can extrapolate how many "viable" attacks there are. Just, how else are we supposed to compare it if not for lineups/war weights as that's how MM is done? There's no way you, me, or Supercell can look at a map where one side has a couple TH11's and the other has 10 or more and say the match is "fair," and that's without even bothering looking at the bases.Quote:

Check out the clans with the longest win streaks and you are going to find a few things they have in common. Mostly 10-10 or 15-15 wars. One or two TH11. One or two engineers. Then many TH5 and below. Many perfect wars. Usually use exact minimum number of attack. Ever see a TH4 with 900 war stars?
Best way to check this out is on clashofstats because it allows you to sort the data more easily. Just look for one with an open war log. I could name a clan or two to check out but I don't want to be perceived as shaming.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there sometimes is.
