My NH has no pride. We don't give a second thought to using the trading center. As long as you give as much as you take we say feel free. That's not to say you have to donate as much as you request just that you are a generally helpful and giving neighbor on all fronts (boats, tree revivals, and everything else). I usually request something every day. :)
