try harder. obviously the spawn rate is tied to their relative value, so of course you'd see more green than blue than purple than gold, etc. i get the higher 'value' vouchers all the time from all sources. i got a gold ticket from a boat yesterday, and remember blue and purples from the truck event metal and jewelry trucks, and even level thresholds. i don't use them for anything so i don't care, but i do notice they're definitely not all green.
I don't keep track of the colors I get but the vouchers are built to give out the mostly green ones (like shadyacre says). You can do is truck orders, boats, open chests, and I think one time I got some in a gift package. Just be patient.
The purple and gold are extremely rare. I have been keeping a careful count of my gold vouchers since I used every last one I had to adopt the two new bunnies last spring. Right after that, the trees with colored foliage appeared in the shop. I'm currently saving gold and purple expecially to be able to buy some of the trees when fall arrives on the farm. So far, I've gotten 19 gold vouchers in 3 months; mostly from events and the Derby. That will be enough for two trees--one red, one yellow. One more voucher and I can get a second yellow tree. My farm won't exactly look like leaf-peeping season in New England this year.
I've been mining and smelting like crazy to fill truck orders for vouchers. My most recent disappointment was 11 silver bars for--you guessed it--a green voucher. Sigh. I do wish there were some way to increase the odds of getting purple and gold vouchers. For example, filling all the crates in the riverboat without asking for help.
The good news is that I have been able to do a lot of fishing with green and blue lures.
like i said, i don't really ever use them, so maybe this is a decent idea of what to expect in terms of proportion or ratio. i have:
683 green, 411 blue, 268 purple, 145 gold
granted i've bought a few deco (very few) - like several normal trees, one of each colored tree, the sandcastle, and few of the holiday deco, but all in all i think that's a pretty good idea of ratio since i don't spend too many, and what i do are probably mostly the higher end ones. eta well i've also done some lures too - but again rarely, only for a few events. i still think it's probably about proportionate, though i definitely make more green lures than anything else
I find Purple vouchers are the most difficult to find, I have enough Gold for my needs.
Like others I have more than enough Green & Blue vouchers too, which just get constantly turned into lures; may as well use them to try fill up my fishing book.
That's honestly not even true, I do find other colours. Obviously the green ones are far more common though.
I have 566 green, 206 blue, 155 purple and 143 gold.
Yes, mine :) There's absolutely no drama, no arguing over Derby tasks & everyone pulls their weight.
...I play Solo 🤣
It's not a one size fits all either, everyone's idea of a 'good hood' is different. You need to think about what YOU want from a hood (Derby style, chatty/quiet, independant players/collective players (aka shopping listers) etc)
My advice is to get to know people through the forum, see if your attitudes are similar then PM them to see if they're looking for new hoodies.
In the meantime, if you just want to get straight into a hood, either join a random 'anyone can join' hood or look in the recruitment section. It's like a box of chocolates without a selection card though, you just have to try it to see & there are loads of nuts! If you do that, follow their Derby rules (if they have any!) and be friendly, but don't give too much of your stock & em's etc as some gods are purely out to fleece people on a weekly basis then kick them before the Derby ends. Some even have lovely sounding adverts in the Recruitment section. There's a no 'name & shame' policy on this forum, and that makes sense, but it also makes it hard to warn people of 'nasty hoods', so you just have to be wary.
Going off topic on a thread is usually discouraged, but it's a thread you started!
On the neighbourhood front, you might find this useful: https://forum.supercell.com/forumdis...od-Recruitment
Going back to the vouchers, green are the most frequent ones, but others can be found, as members have suggested on this thread.
Whilst I do cast off some difficult boats without filling them, the difficult ones I do fill sometimes give pink, blue or gold vouchers. Of course, it's not guaranteed - they can still give a green one; that's part of the fun!
Thanks all for your info/advice etc. This post is closed.
Yes, going off topic is generally discouraged, Cowslips was just ,nicely, giving you the heads up. If we don't try to keep threads on topic, they just become a big mess & it's hard enough to find answers in the forum as it is.
There's really no need to be so touchy. She told you nicely and answered your question.
Lastly, you don't get to decide if a thread is 'closed'. All you can do is stop posting on it if you've got the hump.
