Why do some people play hay day

I know someone who went from level 95 to 99 in 3 days. Now I figure they used a lot of diamonds. I really don't care since its their money but I also know why they did it but why even play. Were is the fun in playing hay day? I remember when this person would complain if someone used a lot of diamonds to advance or get more orders done. Hey day is suppose to be fun. Yes we all use diamonds espically during the derby on boat order's. I guess this is a big competition for this person. So do you use a lot of dimonds ? I will to get tom and boat orders during the derby. Hey the cost of diamonds adds up quickly and you csan use them up very fast! Lol!!!!!

Why do some people care how and why other people play the game? Who knows what his or her reasons are. Doesn't matter.

Well, if they were on 95 and had it almost completed and just got into lvl 99 they could be done with 2.1 million xp and some change. Not to hard to imagine that being possible without spending one single diamond during the double xp trucker event. Having three 12 hour Tom boosters sure would be a big help without spending as well. I know I try to anticipate and prepare for this event. I only did just over 1 million xp, but I still had lots of goods left to keep trucking. Getting my to level 100 was my incentive. Maybe it's dumb, it just felt like such an accomplishment!

it is not hard to level up so quickly esp just concluded the truck double point XP event.. I know people who rushed to level up with or without diamonds to get to level 100 .. where you can get the gold tree and 50 diamonds...

I've spent probably around 300 bucks on the game but that doesn't mean I don't get just as much enjoyment out of it or that anyone else is a better or worse player than me. I just decided to take advantage of the features of the game that require diamonds. Its still a time and management game. Spending diamonds doesn't take away any of that challenge. Ive went all out for xp truck events before without spending a single diamond. Its really not necessary and it really doesn't matter. Hay day isnt a competition to who gets to whatever lvl or status first. Its just a game. :)

I didn't spend diamonds to jump 3 levels myself during the double xp event. Yes, I have Tom, Rose, and Ernest. But, I maintain them on diamond payroll regardless of events.

A well stocked farm with a nice sized barn can withstand the demands of an event like that and do really well especially with leveling up. I was seeing up to about 8,000 XP on one truck order. You can really level up fast if you were prepared for an event like that.

Answering the OP in a broader sense, I play Hay Day because (in no particular order):

• There's no violence
• It doesn't require great hand-eye coordination (I'm hopeless with that stuff)
• I can vary my playing style to fit my schedule
• There are lots of different things to do
• I enjoy collaborating with my team and I've met some lovely people
• It has a reasonable balance of challenge and rewards
• Many of the graphics and animations are charming
• SuperCell continue to evolve the game and clearly take an interest in our feedback
