It would lead to way to much toxicity best to let the stars do your talking for you.
- rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks, harassment, name & shame, or purposeless inflammatory posts.abuse towarsa players
- inappropriate, sexual, vulgar, discriminatory or offensive language of all sorts, this includes simulated, insinuated and abbreviated swearing. This is a family

Not needed, we already post content in clan description to offend enemy clan.
Just get Line or another chat app , ask in your clan description for the other clan to message you and join the group and chat away.
As for offensive stuff in clan desc..I highly discourage this. A report by the other clan (or even someone in your own clan) will result in a two day ban on first offense to the co that posted the stuff. (It even used to be that ALL co-leads get the ban)
It would be way too much offensive, and may result in bans because of too much toxicity.

As already mentioned chat would be abused but how about some preloaded messages to chose from that the leader could send at set times during the war.
Such as;
Good luck
We're gonna trash your bases
Well played
etc
Positives: sharp increase in vocabulary skills
Negatives: bans
It will leave to abusive conversations but ultimately it will also increase the passion for war :thumbsdown:
We currently have the following in our clan description:
'We are currently offering free lessons to players in opposing war clans who do not know how to attack. Join now to find out more...'

The problem with preloaded messages is that there's never one that says what I would like to say. I've noticed that with the Clash Royale taunt system. The problems with writing our own messages have already been mentioned above. I don't see it being a good thing.Quote:

Mature people in fair wars could likely handle a chat option with the opposing clan. However, with so many wars being lopsided due to terrible matchmaking. Things would get ugly in a hurry.
Fwiw, I had my clan's band name in our description and invited friend and foe to speak with us anytime. Some great people did, even when they were beaten, but more often than not it was some knuckleheads just trash talking that quickly devolved into an idiot storm of biblical proportions.
So no, I would never recommend or support this idea OP. If you feel inclined to do so, perhaps do what I did, but accept that you let the good in with the bad. You can always kick and block em'.
There would be a significant language barier with most of our matches.

I was thinking this myself, we are an English language clan and over 2/3 of the wars we have I cant even begin to translate the enemy clans clan description. So in game communication would be impossible when I don't even have their keyboards on my device.Quote:

From what I understand there are 'taunts' in royale maybe something like that would be better then a full out chat. I do this now.
In my clan's info, we have our Discord server published. If they show up, there is a channel called 'War Banter', which is just for that.
Also, just for the record, those who participate always are great sports, and the conversations have been great.
Sure, there are some toxic people out there, but in my experience, those who are smart enough to find their way to our chat server aren't those people.
