Turbo Trucker Achievement/Help

Well, I guess I'm looking for advice on doing this at Level 44. I didn't really pay attention to achievements and now I am just over 1/4 of the way thru Level 44 and a friend in my neighborhood said...if you want to do it, do it before you get to the candy maker.

SO...I guess I need to do it!

I have done TTI, so I am preparing for TTII.

For TTII, how many of each item do you think I should have stockpiled. Also for metal bars and jewelry? Oh, and jam. I hate jam cuz it takes so long.

I have stopped serving my town and boats and am trying to just produce items at the moment.

Okay, the most important step is just finding your first 9 orders. Once your Truck Bulletin Board has all green check marks for all 9 orders, that's basically 9/20 completed right? So basically that's like half of your orders done already. For TT2 really, you only need 5 of each product (10-20 for crops). Because your first 9 orders are basically done and over with (the ones on the bulletin board). When you do TT3, make 5-10 of each product (20-30 for crops-----also for bread and regular corn----make like 10-15 of those). If you do not have jewelry or bars, just cancel those orders when they show up.


Like i said, the most important step in both TT2 and TT3 is getting your Bullet Board with all green check marks. Because for TT2 that's basically 50% of the orders. And TT3 that's basically 33% of the orders.

Note: make sure that these Truck Bulletin Board orders are EASY and SMALL. If they ask for 2 jams or like 2 cakes or rare pies. Discard them until they ask for only 1 of each. If you don't want to use your jams in the first 9 orders, just discard the jam orders for the Truck Bulletin Board orders.

Thanks for the advice! I just discarded 3 orders because they all wanted 2 jams! (on a side note: why does jam take so long to make!) So I'll see what the 3 replacement orders come up with and I am getting close to having about 5 of each item. My town is getting ignored right now!

missice6889 - thank you for the offer. I will send you a friend request. However...

I did just complete TT2!!! I had 4-5 of most everything and had no problems completing all 20 orders.

Now...TT3 worries me a little more since after the first 9, you have another 21 orders to complete not knowing what might come up! But I am prepping and plan to do it relatively soon. I may try for a barn upgrade first though!

I'm still at level 44 around 52k XP in the level.

And I completed TT3 this morning!!! I only had maybe 6-8 of most things and 4-5 only of a few items, but I had about a half dozen people from my neighborhood online so went for it! And it was pretty straightforward! Obtained some iron bars for 2 metal orders from one neighbor, but otherwise everything came from my prepared stash. So, done!

Congrats! And yeap. Most people always over-prepare for the TT achievements. I only used like 60-70 total products for TT3.

A BIG Hay Day "Thanks!" to all the farmers who support us struggling trucker suppliers on the muddy path to TT II and TT III. I just completed TT II -- the most hard-earned 2 diamonds out there! I couldn't have done it without the suggestions/instructions in this thread.

I am on level 47, and life would have been vastly simpler before I got my coveted coffee kiosk and soup kitchen. Both require TONS of dairy which was nearly my downfall. Replacement orders kept popping up with requests for cheese and butter, and without a neighborhood to back me up, I was getting pretty nervous because I had gotten impatient and hadn't stacked any dairy outside the barn. I completed the 20 orders without having to use any of my stacked products. (My barn and silo each hold 650.)

My goal was to stockpile 5 of everything. I made a spreadsheet after I found myself spending WAY too much time wandering around in my barn. It was a real help. I kept refining it until it gave me all the info I found I needed. Here are the column headings in case it would help anyone else.

Machine/Item/on Order/in Barn/in Stack/in Queue/needs Dairy/needs Sugar

Having separate columns for all the places an item could be was a real help.
- the "on order" column meant I didn't count those items in my stock
- separating the barn from the stack meant I could add items to the barn list if I bought them through the DD
- occasionally items went into the barn from the stack because I forgot to make sure the barn was full before clicking on a machine. I got progressively better about checking the status of my barn before clicking on a machine. I also got better at juggling animals and their feed. I'm not nearly as panicked by a full barn as I was.
- having the columns for dairy and sugar requirements helped me make decisions about what to put in the queue for those machines

I just re-read the instructions at the beginning of this thread, and there are some fine points that have come into focus for me that I will be able to use to better stock my barn for TT III. I figure I have until level 51 to complete it. I definitely don't want to deal with another machine. (It was bad enough getting the striped scarf at level 47.)

I sent away all boats and most town visitors while I was stocking. (There are a few visitors hanging out who had orders that weren't too costly.) I'm looking forward to being able to help other farmers fill their boats again. I'm also looking forward to joining a neighborhood so I'll have some friends to cheer me on while I sling products into trucks for TT III.

I am just stocking up in preparation to do TT2 and TT3. I plan to keep going after 2 but have one important question - does the count reset after 2 is completed? Based on other achievements, I am assuming not but thought it worth asking.

I hadn't thought about stacking products outside the buildings - great idea, especially for dairy and sugar. I am lvl 54 and have 1600 barn space so may not need it but I am reluctant to sell my stash of building materials, saws, axes, shovels, etc!

any advice appreciated...
