Engineered Bases DONT REMOVE

There is probably a lot of variation. Early on in my clash career I hardly spent any money at all. Now, when I start a new account, I usually buy the builder pack right away. The first couple town hall bundles also have a huge impact on rapid progression (they often let you start the next TH upgrade immediately, without waiting to upgrade storages first). I'm not interested in prolonging my time as a little base and a small investment can get you to TH7 in less than a month.

The TH7 pack is $10 which gave me pause, and I will probably not get it. But if I had google play credit saved up from the last time someone gave me a gift card I probably would have.

Nobody is removing anything they are trying to make the MM War system fair. I agree and I am now taking steps to eliminate no defense accounts as I can and wait to see what happens when I do use or don't use a no defense account. At this point just don't make many huge changes and don't worry Super Cell is not banning or removing any accounts.

Nahhh, you made a new account and saw it as a way to take advantage of the system and an advantage in war. That was the real choice there.

This is like the adderall of the doping industry, it's not entirely illegal in all levels, but can still get you banned from professional sports. That sounds like restriction from real big time war leagues?! They may not completely frown upon the bases, but restrict them from the leagues themselves. Imagine that!

They will not be removing defenseless accounts. Most likely what will happen, clans running defenseless accounts will sit in queue until another clan with defenseless accounts enters the queue. With the new MM, I predict the closer to normal (max normal range being .5) you are, the faster your matches will be. Anything outside of the .5 range will result in longer searches and will only get worse the more specialized your war roster is.

Eventually, those clans will get tired of sitting in queues for hours and having most of their wars end up in draws. The will begin to "normalize" their war roster in an attempt to get faster matches and wars less likely to end in a draw. Extreme engineering (anything outside of .5 engineering) will go away on its own. Mostly for the reason that clans that practice it are only in it to get easy matches. Once they have to actually try to out engineer another clan, those that do not truly enjoy the challenge of engineering and are only copying what they see will normalize or quit. Only the real engineers will be left.

That is a possibility, and would solve an issue. But doesn't this just further reduce the pool of available clans? If you take the engineered (serious engy) out, and remove the premmie, who matches engineers, then try and match semi-engineered who is left?

And i dont even think engineers spend much. The engineered accounts I've seen have spent zero. And whenever we meet a clan thats hugely engineered they are always doing it to war without heroes and avoid gemming - ie as a way to spend LESS money. Engineered bases are costing SC a huge amount i suspect

I agree. My main is a max th11, but my other accounts are engineered (why would I intentionally upgrade them in a way that I think is bad for war). The engineered accounts don't cost any more than the maxing path accounts. If you want to go fast, you must spend gems. If you are patient, you don't. The exception would be the extreme defenseless with max offense. Those might cost gems. I've never made one of those.

I agree. I spent more on my optimized th11. Gemmed heroes etc. have engineered th9, and th8. Haven't spent a penny. I am better at managing builders, the BH gave me free gems for obstacles, plus 1200 or so for achievement. Heroes aren't maxed, but have gems to deal with the future.

I have a dilema after reading this thread. If engineered clans are paired from now on, who is in disavantage? I mean, will engineered players start complaining that there are other clans more engineered?
