Those are my thoughts too.
During Corn-gate I had bought many many loads of 10 corn for 1 coin and resold them to visitors by now.
The strawberries seem to be holding their price pretty well although I find a few farmers selling at default.
Guess I can't really blame anyone though. They do take 8 hrs to grow and aren't terribly profitable to begin with.
Im sure Tom and Greg are sick of buying crates of strawberries from shops too.

They are used as ingredients in several food products but also as a dyeing agent for clothes and a scent for candles.
Like all crops, they are stored in the silo.

A. Farmers stop trying to sell them at max which kills the paper. As they sell fast at default.
Or
B. Wait until the event ends.

Personally I've sold about 1,000 now to visitors, and have not taken any Strawberry tasks.

Tried your suggestion - red hats and tofu dogs sell rather quickly. Only full price strawberries remain. I still maintain that full price strawberries best bet for long term ad in DD.

Few more days till DD normalcy of wheat everywhere.

Indigo sells even faster than red hats and tofu dogs! Barely place ad and poof they are gone. Best thing to put up - if you want ads and not sales - are the strawberries.

If only people would sell something else and click the ad on that item. Don't people have extras of anything else? And yes, max? It's just making the ads a waste of time.

I'vé had visitors ask for Strawberries once, they were down around 8th position in my barn. What's the new algorhythm? Where (roughly) do you try to position something in order to trigger the visitors? They just asked for corn, which is my 9th highest product.

I keep no red hats or tofu dogs in my barn, so I rely on buying them from others. Since I have none in stock, the walk-up,customers are always asking for them, so I in turn buy from others at max price. I have millions of coins, so I don't care about those. I keep very low numbers of indigo as well and never plant (I only use it for decoration). So keep the indigo coming as well.
