Why does C fail us? The technology is clearly in the game, why has this never been fixed?

In A and B you are spending those items, but in C you are creating new ones. I guess the logic is that you need to know if you have enough (essentially non-zero) in A or B. But in C, to know if you can proceed you need to know if you have all the ingredients, which they couldn't display all at once. I assume that's the logic at least.
But, yes, it would be nice if it just showed all the quantities rather than needing to click on each one in C.
Click bait! What a sucker I am... Thought it was a game, like find seven differences:facepalm:
I don't even think you can consider A & B the same. A is input/output as it doubles your crops, B is output as lures turn into fish. C is input as raw products turn into finished products.
Ultimately the game proves it can show the quantities. The information would also be valuable when loading machines, just as it is when planting crops or fishing.
I waste so much time every day because the game cannot provide me with easy information to what products I have, knowing what I have allows me to decide what I need to make.
Constantly going back to the barn or clicking every item individually is a huge, unnecessary time waster.
Haha sorry Wuss, it's just easier to explain when 3 examples are right next to each other!
What am I missing here?? Just tap and hold and it shows how many you have. No need to go back to the barn
Edited after reading daz' second more carefully. I don't mind clicking each item, but could be made easier for us
Agree with Rick. It would do no harm, but this change request fix is waaaaaaay down at the bottom of my priority list. Especially given how I often touch the items anyway, to see how I'm stocked on derivitive ingredients before committing what to make.
I agree with this completely. To see each items quantity all at once like the lures for example would be great. I was happy when they at least added the feature of showing it on individual items. But let's progress it to the next step now. Great suggestion Daz!
I didn't even know you could click and see the quantity until about 2 weeks ago (I've been playing for 3 years) but now that I noticed that feature, this update is down on my lists of fixes too. Although I wouldn't mind it being more obvious as I never noticed the feature so (to me) it is too subtle to be very effective.
P.S. I also thought this would be a game wussypuss. :)
Thanks, daz, for posting such clear examples of this!!!
rshen's point about how many farmers (including me) only find out from the forums that you don't have to return to the barn each time you want to see what inventory you have on a given product ought to be enough to make extending the convenience from crops and lures to machines a no-brainer. Can you imagine how many farmers are out there who don't ever find out how to check inventory in the machine window???
This is a classic example of an improvement that would be universally applauded in an update.
