I don't have much success with non event fish during events however. Personally, I would save the gold lures for when the event is over

I spend more than 100 gold lures for catching the goldfish in this area, and i try only the small circle. NO goldfish in this area. Found only yellow bass. It this a bug?
No, it. Is difficult,there is other fish there that has the small circle,the goldfish is the one it that fights like a demented tasmanian monster. If it looks to easy to corral it, it is not the goldfish.Quote:

i recently caught my gold weighted gold fish here.
It's in my fishing book
I caught my first goldfish today with a gold lure in the spot Wussypuss indicated. It was a struggle, several tries, but I got a silver weight one. :)

I had no idea that's where the goldfish is located, and I'm pretty stingy about using gold vouchers for fishing. However, I made one, and caught the elusive fish on the third try. First one, small hole, but lazy fish. Let him go. Next, big hole, let him go as well. Next hole was tiny and the fish was active. Turned out to the be the goldfish. Wasn't even hard to catch. He was "active" in that the line flipped back and forth, but it stayed within the small circle the whole time!
Thanks again for the great tip. I added a silver level goldfish to my book. Its been a LONG time since any new fish was added.
