Pumpkin Bomb Contest

Pumpkin Bomb Contest

Once SC removes the Pumpkin Bomb from the game sometime in November I will ask once a month for your Pumpkin Bomb screen shot's showing that you've managed to keep it safe! Be suspicious of 3x3 walled squares on bases.

A prize of some sort may be awarded to the person(s) who keeps their Pumpkin(s) until the new year or longer.

Trivia Question: How could you set off this Pumpkin Bomb?:confused:

1) Lightning walls.

2) lure CC troops over to pumpkin

3) deploy barbs so that they will run to the pumpkin in order to fight the cc troops.

WB might work depending on how far away any other walls are, if they don't see any trapped buildings in range they just blow the closest wall.

That sounds fun!!
However, if someone was to keep their pumpkin on the outskirts of their base, then no troop would wander there to blow it up. So therefore, someone could technically keep it in play forever!

Corners are not as safe as you think. I just setoff someone's bomb in a corner while luring/killing cc troops, and got a good chuckle out of it.

laughing so hard right now although is it really worth it and I know you probably didn't save it perhaps if I find you ill use jump spells somehow to get a barb to the middle. if you make this your base I would love to attack you but we lose the pumpkin bomb contest

Nice idea. Sacrificing 7-8 walls around the bomb like in the OP should be enough. Ground troops cannot enter this area and wallbreakers should't target the walls because there is no building in it.
Somebody has to completely open all compartments with buildings in it. And have some remaining wallbreakers to open the compartment.

P.S. Anyone who copies someone village should be disqualified (only villages that are being used to hide pumpkin bombs, no other villages)

Maybe be once the contest gets down to a few people someone can visit the clans and check for the bomb, in real time. Sounds like work, only work around I can think of.

This is what I am doing now. Had the extra walls actually, was doing light funneling with them. Moved a bunch of buildings away from it though. People are now attacking that edge. No threat to the bomb, but weakens my defense.

Just curious, mines in the center of my base below my clan castle and I have had raids where troops have destroyed the clan castle yet my pumpkin bomb is still there. Shouldn't it have blown up?

I am pretty sure the trigger area of it is larger than those walls. Deploying a troop in the grass behind it would trigger the bomb as they walk by.

I put mine in a 2x2 area, not 1x1.
