TH Level Switcher

Many players have th11 or th10 accounts and would like to participate in wars using th9 or even lower levels.
It would be great if, after a player updated this TH, he could somehow have access to his lower level village on a frozen state (unable to update buildings or troops). There could be a button to switch to any TH level that the player has already passed. Maybe creating a new "workspace" with the same 3 layout slots (war). People would use this to participate in championships, for example. They could enter a championship using their TH9 version village while their current village is a beginning TH10.

I can't see that happening for 2 reasons:

(1) Less people will need to make new 2nd/3rd/4th/etc bases, so any revenue from gems that would be used on a new base is lost. For example, I have a TH9 account that I've stopped upgrading. I keep it around for to war if we need more TH9s in the roster to balance it out. Let's suppose I wanted to make a new base, upgrade it to TH8, then stop for a similar reason. With your idea, I wouldn't have to make a new base; I'd just use my TH9.

(2) Supercell probably does not have a snapshot of everyone's bases when they upgraded each TH level. There's no way to fairly offer this feature to all existing players if the data does not exist.

1) I believe that people do not have more than one village because they want to fix the TH level, but because they want to do more attacks in the war. Therefore, this feature could encourage the player to put all their villages at the maximum level (being able to spend more gems).

2) Supercell does not need to have a snapshot of each base. They can just downgrade each defense from your current base to the chosen TH level.

Hum! Maybe having just a level chooser at each war layout to define which items can be deployed. Sounds good.

I can't see any advantages downgrading farm layout if the purpose is war.

By the way, CONFIRM dialog is so painful during account switch.

He's talking about resetting to a different TH level. The ruled out idea says "Resetting or restarting a specific village". His idea is still resetting the village even if it is only temporary.

I did not suggest the temporary reset of the village. A TH11 village will always farm as TH11 and will always defend farming as TH11.
I suggested that the user could have lower TH WAR layouts (by downgrading defenses/heros/clan castle) to just participate in Clan Wars.
It would certainly encourage users to maximize their villages.
In the championships we see today (like CWL and ClashCup), clans are able to compete only with a especific number of maximized villages.
So if a clan has the intention to enter in such competition, it has to freeze some villages on TH9 and TH10 just to meet the requirements of the event.
My clan is an example of this problem. We have some players who maximized their TH9 villages and moved to TH10.
Now we have none maximized TH9 and some beginning TH10, not meeting the requirements to enter any event.
This feature I am proposing is to create a way for clans such as mine to participate in those events.

No. People made multiple accounts because it used to take three hours to build each army. And that was with no reserve training queue.

So there are many reasons for people to make multiple accounts, but what do you think about the post main idea?
