My cherry trees went back in time?

So I had a row of 9 cherry trees on their second growth cycle (medium size), after harvesting the small trees (first cycle) some time yesterday. I distinctly remember them blossoming earlier today because I was looking at them and marvelling at how nice they looked.

I then activated a booster - trees grow 20% faster for the next 24 hours. I don't know if it's at all related or not, but next time I looked at my row of cherry trees, they had all gone back to small size, with 9 hours to go on the timer. What the!?

They're now back to medium size and blossoming with 3 hours to go, but I think I did lose a few hours when they went back to small size. As far as I can tell, none of my other trees took a leap backwards...

Has anyone had this happen, either with or without a booster?

I haven't seen this happen with my trees. Have you tried contacting Game Support?

No, it's not really a big enough deal for me to consider contacting support (I'm not very fond of them ;)). Was just curious if anyone else ever had this happen before.

So, this just happened again, this time with peach trees. Upon activating a tree booster (one star, 10% faster growth for 24 hours), my full-size blossoming peach trees went back to medium-size, non-blossoming, and it looks like I've lost several hours again. Unfortunately I didn't make a note how long they had left to go before activating the booster, but they were definitely further along than they are now. It only seems to affect trees in the blossoming stage, all the other trees are unchanged.

Oh OK, so it sounds like this is a known bug? I hope SC will address it then. I'll have to be careful when I activate my boosters in future...

I've had this happen, but if I close the game they are back to how they should be when I return

Thanks for the feedback Frisco - good to know that this thread has been seen by SC. :)

We tested, and there is a tiny visualisation problem on our side. The timers work correctly, but the boosted crop/tree change their status, which makes confusing. We will adjust and fix this, so it will be available in the next update.
