Well, this is an intresting picture for sure.

It's not a glitch.
The playing field is 40x40 - with a 2-space unbuildable buffer around the edges. His two trees in that area are on the two buffer spaces, as well as extending 1 space into the buildable area.
His walls in the picture is in the 3rd buildable square, meaing he has 2 squares of buildable area between the woods and his walls. Where the trees come into the field, he only has 1 between the walls/trees.
Down in that bottom corner there is a little bit of bleedover of the border foliage graphic coming up onto the actual playing field. Think it's leftover from when they expanded the playing grid from 36x36 to 40x40 a few months back.
Try it yourself, move a bomb into that corner in your village, you'll see it is normal.
Think of this as an undermown yard. The weeds and tall grass will spill out a bit onto the cut grass. Its just the way your mind processes the image...
