Best way To not get placed in Unfair War's Against Engg. Clan's

In Clan Settings Just add an option of Three Settings (More Choices can be Added):
1. Proper Base's In War
2. Mix of Proper and .5 Base's
3. Proper + .5 + Engg. Base's

OR

In Clan Settings Add A Multiple Choice Option with Check Boxes. This way Clan's will be Able too choose which type of players they want to Add in war and Compete against. Accounts which Won't fall Under Certain Category won't be selectable during Starting War. Whereas for this to work Every CoC Accounts have to be Automatically placed Under Certain Category of Base Type's on the Base's of Criteria's set for Seperate Base Types: (More Choices can be Added):
1. Proper Base's
2. .5 Base's
3. Engg. Base's

AND DURING SEARCH, Only Those Clan's with same setting would be set up with each other.

WAR WEIGHT WILL STILL MATTER while Searching:
What We Get:
1. Proper vs Proper
2. (Proper + .5) vs (Proper + .5)
3. (Proper + .5 + Engg.) vs (Proper + .5 + Engg.)

What we Won't Be Facing: (LACK OF CHOICE. Which Most Didn't had, while searching)
1. Proper vs (Proper + .5 + Engg.)
2. Proper vs (Proper + .5)
3. (Proper + .5) vs (Proper + .5 + Engg.)

Some Rogue Definitions(Will be Elaborated Upon): I know there Base Types are not Mentioned anywhere in Game Rules. But These Definitions Need to be taken into Account if this needs to be fixed.

Proper base: A Base which has all the Buildings of his Current Townhall Level (Anywhere between Lowest Level Defenses of that game to the highest of that Townhall), and yes lowest Level defense Base's will fall under Rushed, but according to their Defense Weights, they won't be placed against other players with maxed lvl defenses.

.5 Base's: Base's which doesn't contain the defensive building of his latest Townhall level, but has possession of Higher lvl CC, Higher lvl Spell Factory and Hero's.

Engg. Base: Base's which possess the Highest Spell Factory Level, Highest CC level for Their Townhall Lvl. But Doesn't have Any defense's to Defend against ever 2-4 lower level Townhall Players.

Set this option to be change-able (Once per month, if you like) and Clan which uses wrong setting can be Reported and Banned from a certain kind of Category(Just like Chat Reporting, but only after its Verified my Report Filter Set up at SuperCell's Side, whose Results have to be monitored from time to time By SuperCell Team).
With Every Clan Getting Only Limited Number of Report's Per Month.

Why Old War Weight Search Mechanism can't be Fixed without adding Any New Method:
Even if Offense and Defense can be Given equal priority of 50-50 or 40-60 or 60-40. A Base with ZERO Defense, and only 1 or 2 Maxed army's still only weight around(20-30%) of TH11 and Fall somewhere around a TH7 Level, even if we could give it maximum attack weight, It will only be around a TH9 lvl , which can 3star a TH11.

What about the clan's Which don't want their TH7-TH9 players be placed against TH11 Engg. Because their Highest Player is a TH9? Thats Why it Can't be fixed with Weight Adjustment Only.

I Hope it Answers as many question as possible, i will be here answering any more Queries as Possible and Improve the Material in THIS Post.

Wouldn't an engineered clan just press the option for maxed clans in that case?

No, not "Everyone will be Cool with these Changes." - I'm part of "everyone" and I'm not even "cool" with the suggestion.

Where is the definition of a "proper" base to be found? Where does it say that engineered or .5 bases aren't "proper"?

Self-selectable (or any) subdivision if the MM pool is not desirable IMO.

My question is who decides what's an engineered what's a .5 base, what's "proper" base.

Also I'm not sure what a proper base is could you please expand on this more

One who can concentrate on war win streak. when they can make an engineered base for months. they can skip the option/ or wrong info provided to get an Unfair war.

How can I know if I'm proper or .5?
For example: what should I do as an early th9 to be a proper base? Should I drop xbows as soon as possible with my low level troops?

Usually everyone who play CoC know these Base's When they see one.

If you have any better Name's for Different types of Base's, you are Welcome to share with us. By the way here are the definition, known in Clashers Community.

From your Comment it was Easy to guess You have Multiple of these type of Accounts(.5, .75, Engg.) to win war's easily, because you don't have guys to play Equally at you Opponents Level.

If these settings are added in clan settings, you don't have too Worry about adding/not-adding xbows... Because your clan won't drop in any Dis-advantagious Situation because of your base... You will be positition against a new TH9 according to your Base's Weight.

From your Comment it was Easy to guess You have Multiple of these type of Accounts(.5, .75, Engg.) to win war's easily, because you don't have guys to play Equally at you Opponents Level.

Funny I have one base and it was fully maxed TH11 until the most recent update came out. So I guess it's not so easy to guess. Just like it's not so easy to determine what's a rushed and whats an engineered and what's a .5 base.

My logic was, you are only countering my Idea with current CoC Rules(which don't mention anything about base type's) because you don't want these type of settings be added. As it will definately result in half the community to have a major problem solved. Which will not be benifitial for your .5 and Engg. Base's.

Rushed and .5 Base's can easily fall under Proper base's as War weight will still Set them accordingly against a evenly matched opponent.

About your base which was recently Maxed TH11, it doesn't have anything in comparison with .5 base or Engg. base,.. so you can definately present it as (Proper base's in war), rest is in War Weight,... Even if You get placed against a
strong 10.5 because of your clan's participating member's War Weight... You will definately not be placed against a Clan which set his clan as (Proper +.5 clan + Engg. Clan)

Again you're missing the point of what makes you the arbiter of "proper" and engineered.

Your definition of a .5 could differ greatly from someone else's. There are plenty of people on here that think .5s fall under the umbrella of engineering

I understand, Proper and .5 and Hushed base's can all vary well fall under proper, but thats where war weight come's in... Its not as if War Weight's have completely vanished.

Thats why i am suggesting 3 Options:
1. Proper
2. Proper + .5
3. Proper + .5 + Engg.

IF SUPERCELL SEE'S FIT THEY CAN ADD MORE OPTIONS.

This Way even if (Proper + .5) set their setting to Proper, that won't be as Dis-advantagious as getting Matched with a (Proper + .5 + Engg.). Since (Proper) or (Proper + .5) won't have to forcefully war with (Proper + .5 + Engg.) Just because their Total war weights are equal.

All these Different setting will have clan's fall under different Brackets, and can't war with each other.

There is nothing wrong with the current system that can't be fixed by a bit of weight adjustment, which SC is constantly working on. Your suggestion would be unnecessarily complicated.

Lol... what is a proper base? So, say i upgrade my axilery buildings and walls and troops and heros first before I do defensive buildings, am i improper or just smart? What if I look at the gap between th10 and 11 and see no need to add any def. buildings until walls heros and troops are done, am I improper for this? What if as a th8 I dont build the bomber tower, but at th9 build one xbow?

Ha! There would be thousands of reports everyday for "misrepresented" clans. Many would be boarder line subjective decisions anyway. Sounds like SC would need to higher 1000 people to simply make "rulings" and hand out "punishments". Not sure this idea was completely thought through. Back to the drawing board. Whomp whomp.

It is all cool and Good for you, but i am taking in account ppl who are not as smart as you and want to play against players of Equal Level at Offense and Defense. You know you will easily be able to 3star enemy's higher level players this way, but does you enemy clan have any choice here ?

Its your Choice, you can upgrade offense and Win war's. But what about the Players who want to have a choice to play against not just base's with Offense but also with Defense.

You are smart you should be able to play with other smart players, so why not have a option for This ?

Supercell can definately right Some program to automatically check against these "Reports". And Manually check only 10/100 or 50/200 to see if program is working alright.

I dont have a problem with you suggesting ways to fix the engineering problem and everyone here that said you did was out of line. Per Darias they do see it as a problem but its a challenging one to fix so he has advised it might take them a while to work out a good solution fair to all. (Keep in mind any solution has to be fair to Engineers too, they havent cheated or broken any rules so they are not to be punished or restricted from building their bases that way.)

But honestly I dont think your idea will work. Since Engineers are looking for ways to work the system for an advantage they will simply select options to match them against non engineering clans for that advantage. For many of them this would actually be a dream situation to be able to guarantee an opponent that doesnt have that same advantage.

I have mentioned the solution for this problem as Clan Reporting for those who abuse this Setting, this setting should only be Change-able on Monthly or Weekly base's... So Abuser's can't change it right back after War is Found to avoid getting Reported/Banned for a given amount of time.

Engineer Clan's will still be able to Compete against other Engineer Clan's according to their War Weight's. So it will be kind of fair for them as well.

This is already covered in Main thread.

Currently no such rules exist. With the sheer volume of wars plus the grey areas that would arise I am willing to lay money that SC will not create rules like that they would then have to enforce in real time mode. It would require a lot more manpower than you might be estimating. Remember that the game is bigger than just your wars. Its worldwide and there are many thousands of wars taking place at any given moment.

Dont get me wrong, I applaud and appreciate your attempt to come up with a solution. I just don't think this is it. (I say that regrettably too)

Ill start by apologizing. Sorry. To me, this thread is most absurd "solution" to engineering that I've ever seen. Just wasted 3 minutes of my life reading it. Certainly these ideas will never be added to the game.

Why is it Absurd?
Engg. Base's have a Choice to Set their Base as they like, And Still Compete with Non-Engg. Base's. Shouldn't Non-Engg. have a Choice against whom to compete and Whom Not to.

Not every Problem can be Solved with Simple Solutions same Have to be Complecated. If It could have been Solved easily, its wouldn't be still in Discussions.
Atleast Mention the Reason/Better Solution... If you really wanted to do something Productive With the 3 Minutes you wasted on Reading my Post.
