No Clan Perks 11 to 20? Why not add some new perks for Builder Base?

It's disappointing that around 10,000 war experience goes to nothing when levelling up from Clan level 11 and above. Why not add some new Clan Perks for our new Builder Base.

There are so many possibilities over there compare to our Home Village.

For example:
Level 11: add 1 level to Guard Post troops
Level 12: add 2 minutes of Clock Tower boost
Level 13: add 1 troop level to only one Army Camp
Level 14: add 1 more Guard Post troops
Level 15: add 1 Gem to Gem Mine production rate

Those are some interesting Clan Perks that will shows the correlation between both bases and war scene. That being said, addressing the engineering Clan war issues still remain important as adding any new contents.

What do you guys think?

Since you don't war with BhB why should you accrue perks you gain with your main game? That's kinda backwards imo. What's the point? The only reason you need to keep up with BhB is to not get left behind in the main game.

SC has said it is already very hard to start a new clan and it would be even worse if the perks were higher. I happen to agree with them. Personally, I wish we could start over and not give clan exp for losses. That way we wouldn't have this problem of so many very high level clans and also clan level would mean more if you had to earn the exp.

Well, it is not Clan war perks, it is Clan perks. So the perks are used not just in war. Your 10 minutes request of troops for farming also come from the perks, which is accrue from War.

The point of Clan perks is to add some extra incentive for Clan which had experiences. If no clan perks are given for 11-20, so no extra incentives compare to Clan level 10?

The clan perks is also available in farming or pushing in Home village. Not only available for War raids.
So there is no reason that mini game did not get any Clan perks.

The dark side is a solo mini game. There's nothing clan related about it. Imo perks shouldn't apply to it. I also happen to agree that higher leve perks above 10 would continue to make it harder for new clans to form

I don't agree with the "very hard to start a new clan" reasoning because since basically the day clan perks were introduced, it almost instantly became not worth the effort to start a new clan. Especially if this reasoning is at the expense of existing high level clans. They can surely add more perks without upsetting those very few players that want to start clans at this stage of the game as this will benefit a great portion of the player-base in the game. I would love to see any sort of (meaningful) reward for all the extra levels a lot have now.

First, the cat lady hit it spot on all ready, as builder village currently plays clan perks obtained thru clan wars have no effect on builder game play as requests,donations,time,treasury are not features brought over from the main village. But i have always thought that wars should not be the only way to gain clan perks and that extra perks after ten should be strived for not just for war but increase clan size,clan castle,spells,camps etc for the other 2 modes of clash farming and pushing...

Agreed with the reward for all the extra Clan levels earned. And you can always join higher level Clans that war most of the time and have high Clan level, but accept members that don't war (certainly not the very focused war clans).

The request, donations and time are not directly related to Clan war, they did introduced before any War was introduced. Yes, treasury was created for storing war win loot bonus. But the other three was included in the Clan perks to help Home Village Clan game play.

When you play BB and in PVP matching with other players, the players name did state the Clan name, without any perks in the Builder Base game play. The Clan perks could be taken into consideration for Builder Base.

So you actually do agree with SC that adding perks would make it hard for new clans.

As stated i am not against SC creating perks for clans once level ten is achieved and also not opposed to some type of perk or reward for builder village play clan wide but as any and all perks can only be obtained via one of the 3 modes of clash war... As builder village currently plays perks that are obtained via war such as extra treasury,increase troop and spell levels,decrease cc request time,etc are not used nor needed for the builder village game mechanics. Instead of posting some generic plea for extra perks, how about putting some thought into specific perks that you would like to see incorporated into the clan and builder village mode, i would like to see your thoughts....clash on

Sure, but not that it is an easy feat right now anyway (and most certainly not worth the effort seeing as there are a ton of high clans to to choose from at any given time). Just that to hamper progress of a whole plethora of clans over level ten for the sake of the few that want to attempt to (and most likely will give up) make a new clan is not the right thing to do.

Yes silver i saw the perks that you put on your first thread, i apologise as i have only had 1 cup of joe and i am not clearly stating my request. How would you propose or how would you like individuals and clans to acieve said perks....For example, 100 victories equal a x amount of experience points toward clan level 11?

Builder Base do not have any connection with clan wars so why should that get any advantage?

I'm sure BH wars will be here soon. Maybe they're waiting for BH 8 to be released first.

Okay, the clan perks can only be gained from War experiences in Home Village. Nothing more.

There are already many Clans over level 10 with the experience from war. There is no need add any experiences from Builder Base game play.

They were tied into clan wars as they were the perks associated with participating in war.
Clan perks have always been a "reward" for the clan working together in wars.

If there were more perks, they should afffect the clan as a whole.

Like, say for example we can have tasks that have to be done randomly and are time based.

Like say, for perk 11 you have to complete 300 tasks as a clan whole ranging from destroying 10 builder halls each or gain 5000 trophies as a clan whole. Things that involve a whole clan.

Or something that involves both the Main Village and Builder Village, like win 10 battles on both and you get resources (especially for the BhB), the resource being whatever they mark it as. A way would be getting the league bonus as a reward.

Bonus can be (e.g.) a 1% increase in the bonus of your league at 11, 6% at level 16 with whatever else they’d like to bunch it with so on and so forth. This perk would affect both villages.

Look, it is called Clan perks, not Clan war perks.

I get SC's point with not adding more perks above lvl 10. It already is very hard to make a new clan and attract players. Adding significant perks would just make it that much harder.

I do think it's a big waste to have the xp after lvl 10 do nothing though. I think they should add perks, but have them be purely cosmetic changes, like new clan shield graphics and things like that. Have anything over lvl 10 be more of a bragging rights type of reward.

Nice, but I doubt SC will add to the current bonus system. They are quite stingy in that sense. But I do acknowledege that the current loot amount is enough for meaningful progress and 3 attacks seems appropriate for normal Clashers with a life. For hardcore is obviously not enough.

No, I did not say Clan perks or levels were not introduced from War.

I said the donated troops levels and donations request time were long introduced before clan war. I said the perks is not just for war, but for pushing and farming as well, even though both pushing and farming were individuals.

The same could be said for Builder Base, even though it is individuals game play, but it can be awarded with Clan perks of Clan levels 11-20, which currently without any perks.

I could get behind ideas like this or similar type of ideas whether thru builder village,farming,pushing,special troop events that allowed clans as both individuals and as a group to strive for some type of reward or perk. I truly believe the foundation is there in current gameplay to improve clan activity and socialness but SC has yet to figure the business side out in making it work like gemming heroes for war....

Have you read the sticky in the war subforum yet? You do not get perks for pushing/ farming! You can use the benefits from having warred and earned xp/ levels while farming (which is what I think you are meaning) but the initial benefit came from warring. Some members from the clan had to have warred to give the clan members the benefit of the perks.

The first page of the sticky states "you can only get xp from warring".

Now, if sc were going to introduce a non war related addition to xp/ clan levels as you suggested in your OP, a complete overhaul of the war xp system would be required.

Wait for BV Clan Wars first before you get ahead of yourself. :smirk:

I never said you get perks from farming or pushing. I said you get the benefit of perks in farming or pushing. And the perks came from warring, everybody knows that.

The progress in BH does provide you some additional incentives in gear up option in Home Village, which indirectly links to war game play again.

But we could agreed that farming and pushing are individuals gameplay, which get the benefit from Clan perks, which were gained from warring. The same could be said for builder base game play.

Before clan war, you can donate right. You can request for troops and the time before 2nd request was there as well (it was 20 minutes without any perks). Troops levels were there since the beginning of this game, before the clan war even came in.

So you really do want to get back to the time of modding? People do want to win as it is now, and if they don't get anything for a loss then they will just go that step further for a win. I guess you haven't seen what happened in CWL recently?

It doesn't make sense to lump normal game mechanics (donating, requesting, troops having levels) into a discussion into perks (request time reduction, troop level increases when donating).

I'm trying, but failing, to see the correlation between the two things?

Most of the 'new' clans I see in global recruiting are doomed to failure from the get go. Mostly because:

1) They're started by 'noobs'. I see so many players under level 20, with a TH5 or less begging people to join their clan in global.
2) Said clans above offer free Elder/Co leader. This is a sure way to attract kids (whom mostly have the attention span of gnats) or people that are all gung ho to start the game, then quit a week later.

I always tell these people that they're better off joining a clan first to get some experience in a clan, and seeing how it's run. I'd say 75% ignore my advice, and the other 25% ask if they can join my clan.

A clan needs a good solid foundation to start on. TH1-6, even 7 is iffy, is not a good foundation for a leader of a clan to start from. Clan perks really have very little to do with a new clan sinking or swimming.

Well CWL lost 3 clans in the last wave if I'm not mistaken. But it is at a level that normal players can live with. But it is not gone, far from it.

Yup, sadly one of the best things to happen to this game may not even continue due to modding. It's most certainly not dead.

Free milkshakes would be great. At each level they are a little bigger and/or more flavor choices.

It's just too hard to start a new clan as it is like others have said. It takes waaaay too long to reach level 10. I also think they should limit the max the search for clans to level 10 as well

If they did add perks, especially if they are actual perks that impact game play, I would prefer they only count exp for wins after level 10.

Wow, first you make a huge unsupported jump from me not liking clan perks for losses to meaning I must want more modding (which is total nonsense) and then you go from that to making an incorrect assumption that I don't know there were cheaters that got banned from CWL. Managed to get both of those in just one post. By the way, I don't like participation awards either....

I agree, it was too easy to get to Clan level 10 losing all the way.

I think bad losses, such as half the enemy bases undefeated, should lose your clan clan xp.
