1 JUL 17 Puzzle Boat Event Thank your neighbors and friends thread

I thought I would start this thread to thank my neighbors and friends who are seriously stepping up to help me while I call boats to pile up the puzzle pieces. I will try to name you all, but some of you may have already fallen off my Last Helpers Tab. So if I miss you, I apologize in advance. Thinks are moving FAST!!!

Because of you, I have a new Muddy Elephant, who, since we got her on Canada Day, we will call Poutine (she does look dressed in brown gravy, LOL)

I started the day with 9 PPs, and finish with 55. Today has been really fun -- and the best part of today has been working together with worldwide farming friends, helping and being helped, making decisions about the direction of my game and playing it as hard as I want to, while making progress on animals without waiting for SC to decide to dispense 2 pieces to me per week.

I hope SC's evolution of thought on the puzzle pieces continues. Hopefully the event will generate enough good data for SC to make some decisions that will restore more opportunity for individual player decisions to impact the animal sanctuary aspect of the game.

I want to thank everyone, too! This event is fun -- I'm just glad I have extra diamonds!

I'm thankful for my friends, too!

Many are those listed in Perky's list, including Perky herself!

It's been a sort of fun challenge to try to give helps before someone else does them. Sort of a "doing good" challenge to myself!

And...on another note, you know how it is when you desperately need strawberries [insert your own item here] and the DD, which is generally FULL of them, has none! AAARGH! Needed to say it to those who'd understand!

Wow - I haven't seen that thread in years! But this event is moving so fast lol it would take longer to type what we need than fill the boat lol

I'm going to see if the next puzzle pieces go to 2nd hippo or first giraffe. If hippo, I'll drain the barn. If giraffe, I'll call it done and help others.

So that's what, 175+ boats for you? OMG and CONGRATULATIONS!!

I am crawling to a stop now because I am starting to get repeat orders, and it looks like my pieces will go to the giraffe. This has been a nutty day - I have never done 45 boats in 2 weeks, much less 10 hours!!

I feel like I did the scorched earth. I ran 122 boats and it just sucked the life out of the barn and silo. I think if not for derby next week I would just sell off the rest and actually do the S.E.

I am up to 17 PCs for my brown hippo. I don't think I will make it, but it is better than how it looked yesterday XD

I haven't now called too many, but a huge thanks to the hoodies and friends have helped me along.

Many thanks to Luna and Nikki for much help over last hour or two!

This event has been a hoot on so many levels! I missed the first 4 hours, but it has been strategy changing and an interesting challenge.

nearing the end of my day, don't think I will get a second animal, but I am closer than yesterday. In the last 3 boats, I have parted with my cream, brown sugar, white sugar and I don't really care. It will take a very long time to recover my stocks.

(Not to mention some 200 diamonds)


the shopping is really great though :cool:

I wish I had written all my helpers down.
I know I'll miss some here.
but thanks to deb, moko, popsi, pl@net3l, haystacker, Hellas kitchen, momscar, and darn it I wish I could remember the helpers from earlier today.

it was kind of fun to see some neighbors changing their farm names so much to thank all the helpers.

Also, this is a nice thread :)
