Not every boat offers a puzzle piece. Was a puzzle piece showing on the side of the dock ?
Is this the issue?? -- You only get the puzzle piece for completing your own boat, not for filling crates on another farmer's boat.
Hi Elfriede, it's one puzzle piece for each completed boat. Good luck with event, I need cheese sugar and blankets for my boat... #sobs sadly into the distance
Just saw the event notice. My next boat has no puzzle piece indicated the dock. It will be interesting to see if one appears or everyone has to wait for one boat before every future boat offers puzzles.

The German wording clearly states: one piece per crate!!!!!!!
And even more worse: the announcement in the game news is in a strange language.

Just completed boat for event plus for task in derby, no puzzle piece, I filled all boxes myself, but still nothing ..... what a rip-off. First event that really sucks.
Puzzle pieces are awarded for ORDERS that arrive after the event started. Those orders will have a puzzle piece indicator on the side of your dock.Quote:

Strange, I am seeing nearly only puzzle boats, except of course for very low level farmers who haven't unlocked it yet.
Auch ich habe 12 eigene Kisten und 2 Kisten von Freunden befüllt und keine Puzzelteile erhalten. Die Nachricht zum Event ist eindeutig. Es heisst für jede gefüllte Kiste wird ein Puzzelteil fällig. Es ist nicht vom Schiff die Rede. Für gefüllte Schiffe gab es schon vorher mal ein Puzzelteil. Die Mitteilung zum laufenden Event ist eine Hintergehung der Spieler wenn sie nicht eingehalten wird. Schade für die Community und ein Armutszeugnis für die Spielehersteller.
the puzzle piece doesn't come on every boat; although there is a 24-hour event where every boat should have a puzzle piece. Its not for each crate. Its when the whole boat is completed and YOU send it off. If u don't fill all the crates in your boat and it leaves, no puzzle piece.Quote:

You clearly make the rules as you like to! Or, to phrase it differently, you likely werent able to code things properly - as usual.
It works both ways, if you finish a boat with say 2 minutes left in the event; the next boat will be a puzzle piece even though it will arrive 3 hr 58 minutes after the event ends.

If that happens indeed then it all evens out in the end. Because with the double coin, XP or voucher events the boat needs to actually arrive during the event and if you cast off a boat 2 minutes before the event ends then the next wouldn't have the double coin etc.
