The problem with Walls

hello everyone, if you have a town hall 7 and up then by now you have probably come to realize how expensive walls are. i, for example am trying to get level 7 walls which are 200, thousand a piece! that means that in total i would need 45 million gold total. then for the next level of walls i would need 112,500,000 gold and that would only be for level 8 walls!. Anyway, done with examples, you can see that walls definitely need to be looked at again by supercell. I believe that they should significantly decrease the price by up to 50%.
So I challenge you all to comment on this post, re-post it and get supercell's attention. we are a big community, together we can do virtually anything..
EDIT:after some talking, I think that people are agreeing on about 20% cheaper, because otherwise everyone would have the best walls

lol no thanks, do you have any idea how many people would get incredibly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if walls suddenly becomes 50% cheaper, cmon 200k a piece is cheap enough already, and some of us have spend hours farming them as well as lvl 8 walls and lvl 9 walls and some even lvl 10 and 11 walls...

not 50% but something cheaper because im just finishing off lvl 7 walls and dreading the level 8 walls that are soon to come, maybe 150k for lvl 7, 300k for lvl 8, 750k for lvl 9, 1.5 mil lvl 10, 3 mil lvl 11, somewhere along those lines would be respectable

Level 7 walls are 2 weeks farming to complete so not much really
apluse if we all had high walls then raiding would be a harder therefore harder to get gold and harder to up wall.

I've only done up to lvl7 walls and have mostly maxed defences for TH9. It would be nice if walls were a bit cheaper, but lvl7 and 8 are easy enough. Players already with lvl10/11 walls would be extremely annoyed though. Therefore the change should be more like 10-20% off.

I think it is totally worth it because while your walls hold off the troops you defenses kick in then, if you have stronger walls you are most likely to win the battle. Enough said.

honestly not to be rude or anything but i would be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if this were to happen. I have been playing for about a year without gems and i have all lvl 7 walls and working on all lvl 8 walls at the.. Honestly for newer people it would be nice but i would personally be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because ive spent alot of time working to get all these walls!

The price of walls are fine, it's those level 10 and 11 walls that are expensive. I'm currently farming level 10 walls and it's costly. Since I'm skipping level 9 walls and going straight to level 10 that's 4 million gold total. So I wouldn't complain much over walls that are worth 200k gold.

200k per wall is easy - as a th 7 I would know - you should be getting atleast 350k a raid if you know what you're doing

If you decreased it by that much, no one would raid because everyone would have lvl 8 walls easily and only with lvl 6 wall breakers can you break those.

First of all, these walls are cheap, its the Level10 and Level11 that are expensive. Secondly, think of how many people have saved up, or spent gems and finishing their walls, they are not going to be happy, and as a company, Supercell doesn't want to have to fork out and refund everyone (which would be very difficult to carry out) And the fact that Supercell's income will heavily decrease, aswell as refunding thousands of people, that's not something a company would want to do.

Another thread about walls? As I said in the last thread people who complain about walls are people who are trying to max lvl 7 or 8 walls but just got bored while other people are on their way to max lvl 10 walls:rolleyes:.

If you have trouble farming lvl 7 walls at TH7, you might as well quit the game... TH7 is farming heaven and lvl7 walls are only 200k a pop. That's 1-2 walls per raid. If that's not easy enough for you then what is?

That's your issue? lol
Do you know some people work hard to get level 8, 9 and 10 walls?
You don't believe me?
Check out sky, dtp, unity etc.

Just learn the strategies and learn the AI of troops.
People farm over 10 mil a day - at least 1 mil an hour.
And some people can get over 1.5 mil an hour.
Not to mention that TH7 has incredibly good loot, especially after the introduction of TH10.

Also, I'm sure you wouldn't want to raid bases when most of them have much higher walls.

I apologize if this sounded a bit like SBag Steve, but it's pretty much how I would react if they decide to lower the price.

If they did decrease the price, then those who had walls maxed or close to it would get the gold they spent back, (in gems) lol just kidding.

But yeah, they are way too expensive even at Level 7.

Lvl 10 and 11 walls are the hardest. Those prices need to be decreased not lvl 7,8 and 9. I'm currently workong on lvl 8 walls if you have a builder free you will finish your walls in 3 weeks.

7's are easy. Even 8's aren't -that- bad. 9's are doable if you only use them on your most important sections. 10+ is pretty bad, but let's be honest here - some people have been playing for a long time and need somewhere to sink their gold, and gemmers need something to give them an advantage vs everyone else. I don't mind too much if that advantage is walls. You can always rage your wb through the walls, and Supercell did roll out a new level of wb, and there are lots of troops that aren't stopped by walls.

but you see, supercell has already done that lots of times. like the cost of barbarian king, dark barracks and so on, people save up for those things too.

sorry, if i explained myself wrong good guy, i did not mean i am a town hall 7, i am higher than that(9) but i was saying that at town hall 7 it starts getting hard

I 150% agree with you! Walls are waaaaaaaaaaaaaayy too expensive! They should at least add more hit points per upgrade if anything.
