Are boats the only way to find puzzle pieces? I've been doing boats since the update and haven't received any puzzle pieces. It has been a week.. how can I get the puzzle pieces???? This is frustrating. Boats are hard to do.

Boats, red mystery boxs, and derby rewards are where you will find puzzle pieces. I find that the best place to get them are in the derby. Try not to let boats overwhelm you. Don't hesitate to send away boats that will be hard for you to fill. Being in a large, active neighborhood makes boats a breeze and don't forget that you can ask for help filling 4 crates.
Puzzle pieces weren't meant to be easy to get so have patience and keep farming. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Do not take offense, none intended, but you have opened the sanctuary, correct? If not, you won't get puzzle pieces. I think by now, everyone that has the Sanctuary opened has had at least 1 or 2 boats that rewarded a PP if the boat was filled. Also, I believe the 3rd column on the derby may yield a PP as well. Some people have opened red boxes to be rewarded with a PP.Quote:

If you opened the sanctuary and bought the animal (which one do you have btw?) then my suggestion is to message support and have them check it for you.
Also, if the boat is a puzzle boat there will be a picture of a puzzle piece on the dock. So if there's no puzzle piece on the dock you can comfortably send that boat away without worrying about missing a puzzle piece.

Well if you have the sanctuary unlocked, you have the animal, and you're sure you haven't simply missed the boats with puzzle pieces/didn't play derby/ are as unlucky as I am with the toolboxes... You should definitely contact support! They're meant to be rare, but not THAT rare! :o
I think maybe you missed the puzzle boats? It can happen. We've had four so far. Seems to be two each week. We had two the Monday right after update and two again this past Monday. Make sure to open visibility to the dock area. Sometimes we put trees there that block the view but you will get a puzzle symbol on the dock (left side of it) announcing next boat will be puzzle.
