Ridiculous 5th birthday prizes

instead of giving farmers what they need the most, us who spent time and money on this game. All i got is derby decorations which i dont need as i have many of them.. i need permits , puzzle pieces or at least boosters.

At the end i get decoration after deoration. If your intention is for us to spend 5 diamonds after 5 diamonds to shfule the prizes. I will never ever do... just ridiculous. And yes thank you for your birthday derby just wish i was opt out to not see this ridiculous action of yours.

I have a puzzle piece on 1 column and a permit in another, with 5 columns yet to achieve. So from where I sit, I like the prizes just fine :)

Underwhelmed here too, 5 columns so far, 1 deco, no puzzle pieces, no permits 🤔

Goat cheese, bolts, puzzle piece and permit for me. All good.

The prizes seem OK, but I'm not witnessing any 'significant improvement'. just a few more decorations mixed in.

Doesn't feel like it justifies an entire sneak peak. Whereas improvements to town efficiency would have been far more appreciated.

The booster only columns need to bugger off too.

Prizes seem pretty normal to me. I hate decors so i'm not really psyched about the new themed derbys.

P.S. I hate booster coulombs :mad: lol

My prizes seem about the same so far, only 5 columns done. I'm bummed to see the 2 booster columns are still in there. I'd prefer it if there was only one booster column.

I'd prefer to see any booster besides a crop or machine booster. Like - where are the boat crate boosters? My neighbor keeps getting the ones that close 2 crates! Or the short naps for Tom booster...

That being said, I've got a puzzle piece and a permit, so I'm not complaining. (too much)

AGREE 100% with this!!

We had 4 opted in this week so we have all the columns complete. I have the 2 dedicated booster card columns, 2 columns of assorted barn and silo expansion material, 2 columns with puzzle pieces, 2 with special permits, and 1 with land deeds that I desperately need. I do have 1 deco - the purple furlong pole, but with a puzzle piece in that column the choice is obvious (to me).

I'm a happy camper this week, but I have a feeling we will be back to only 2 playing next week.

I have 2 puzzle pieces and a banner - nothing special at all.

Where are the special Derby prizes ? - I was expecting something unique - such a let down

Wait. You have a puzzle piece on row 1? Are you sure? Cause it's always rows 3 and 6 for puzzles only BUT this is a special birthday derby and they said we would have better odds of getting good prizes so maybe that's why... but I'm also confused bc they also said we wouldn't be getting more puzzle pieces in this special derby, only on others to come. So I don't get why you have one on row 1. I just want to make sure you do bc I need to know how many reshuffles I have to do once derby is over to get my puzzle pieces lol. I was planning to stop once I got one on row 3 and the other on row 6.

Wow, you guys are experts in the derby! I'm jealous, I got demoted to the previous level and well, not doing well, because my tasks are under 300 points!

Second, I thought the prizes were going to be a better chance for rare prizes, no matter what levelof one is on. i was hoping I can finally get the rocking horse, expansion permits (the scrolls) and possibly puzzle pieces. But its nothing but the usual stuff! What gives?!l

I'm sorry I was not clear- my puzzle piece is on column 3.

I was using 1 as 'one piece in a column', not as a 'puzzle piece in Column NUMBER 1' -- GLAD you posted, because I would hate for you to reshuffle looking for PPs on Column No. 1, where I don't think they will EVER appear.

Ah ok! Hehe no worries. Thanks so much for answering. A part of me secretly wanted it to be true lol so we could get more puzzle pieces this derby. But oh well... The patient hunt countinues ☺️

I am happy for those who get what they need, or are satisfied with thier prizes.

I am not here to complain but see it by the eyes of fairness, won't you make your birthday more special more exciting? Or maybe because we dont pay enough for your intelligent? I doubt it. My prizes seem the same as usual. I have a puzzle piece in the third horseshoe and decor in the first so far.

I'm happy because Frisco said: we have more chance to get goodies, he didn't say that there are "special goodies".





Whether it rains or not I can not influence and synonymous here in HD, I can not influence what goodies I get. Even if I use hundreds of diamonds. Ok, that's frustrating, but it's just like that.

Mine seem pretty much the usual as well. Two puzzle pieces and a permit, no decoration as of yet. Now I've never disliked 'the usual'. I'm not that big on decoration :P

So far nothing much different about this derby prizes. We have all horseshoes now, with 2 permits and 2 puzzles, the 2 columns with almost useless vouchers,and as it has been happening in the past derbies, almost no barn tool (just 1 bolt in same column as a permit). That is annoying as derby was just the only place I could get tapes. It is very stressful to be hunting for it all the time, as unfortunately no one in my hood has an excess of them, and due to past bad experiences I do not trade. Also, we regularly get win prizes, and not a barn tool there too in past 5 derbies.
I also think dropping tools were tweaked, for about 60% of dropped items are mining tools (hate them by now), 20% are vouchers and the rest are screws ir planks with a smathering of bolts in it. Right now I have 97 planks, 35 bolts and 3 tapes.
As I do not much care for puzzles and am not in a hurry to get permits, I will probably stop running derbies.

Is this banner common?

I agree with this - I always have mining, but not like I have had recently: 1200 mining tools!! And miningbtasks have been reduced in the derby to accommodate basket tasks. I hope therefore the mining drop rates will also get revised. There is no market for mining on the trading thread.

The first ones are just butter and stakes etc.

The Tom is a 40% reduced napping time and I have a free Tom in storage for 13 hours.
This week I have found 5 permits in treasure boxes, with the 3 I already had (from before the update) and 2 from derby prizes I'll be able to open my next piece of land. 6/9

Everything is awesome when you get it for nothing!

The good news at Dibley Fields is that I will be able to opt out of the Derby again after this week! Back to leisurely farming! Yay!

Several factors have converged to create the perfect Derby storm for me:

• My first column has the saddle rack as a prize option
• My third column has the topiary horse as a prize option (there's a puzzle piece there, too, but meh...)
• Those are the only 2 decos I've been seeking since I opted in after the spring update. (The only other Derby deco I wanted was the rocking horse and I've gotten 2 of those :)).
• My permit frenzy has abated. I still need to open 4 more special plots (the two plum trees, the lemonade stand, the heart/balloon thing). The lemonade stand interests me, but not enough to keep Derbying.
• I am currently uninterested in the puzzle pieces. If/when SC gives me the option to actively participate in completing the puzzle of my choice, I'll reconsider.

I'll probably opt in again for special theme Derbies if there are special theme decos. I was hoping for those this week, like maybe the animal balloons that were New Years event threshold prizes for two years.

I never ever have two puzzles and so much deco in my horseshoes

If this is are your common horseshoe prices , you are very lucky!

I must shuffle to get one puzzle piece or one permit,

I really think Supercell is upset about this, I expect the Birthday derby was supposed to be a great event, not only because of the birthday but also launching a new feature of derby racing,but technical problems interfered. You know, like a bottle of champagne that does not pop :)

Meh, no decorations in any of my horseshoes. But -- 2 puzzle pieces and 2 permits! I'll take it, thank you very much!

I have a feeling that we won't know what is special about this derby until it's over....just saying.

I don't have anything spectacular in my horseshoes on either farm, unless puzzle pieces and permits are special...I see no new decos or anything out of the ordinary. I almost always shuffle my prizes after choosing the ones I want to keep and will most likely do so this time. So, I'm really hoping that there is some special prize that we don't know about at the end...
