Another name change at Th 9?

I understand that many people, including me, are frustrated that you can only change your name once. I also understand that Supercell doesn't want people changing their identity every day. So we compromise so that we are all happy. I had the idea that you unlock another name change at th9 or if supercell wants to stop rushers, level 100. What does everyone think? Would this fit into the game.

There was already a compromise which is why we have the one and only name change. Pay heed to what it is called, they meant it.

The latest info from SC representatives is that there will be no further name changes, at least for the foreseeable future.

talking to supercell help and support, they say that there are lots of requests for this feature and that it may happen.

No offence but man what's the point in having one more if you can't get it right twice

That's the same generic response everyone gets from support when suggesting an idea. It's been asked for for years. Still hasn't happened. That should tell you something right there. SC has said many, many times that additional name changes won't happen. You already get one and the game goes to extreme lengths to let you know that that's it. That's your one chance. Of all the things that need to be addressed in this game, name changes aren't one of them.

Yeh kind of desperate cus my sister used my name change. Which means I'm not valid for a name change. I know lots of people who agree with me though

No you didn't. They said that it was something requested my many people and that they are now considering it

Allowing another name change will not resolve the issues with people that hand over their phones as well as provide the pin code to get into it (if thats even what really happened in many cases). If they allowed another name change on that basis the next wave would be guys saying they used the first name change to make their name into one they were happy with and now someone has used the second name change to make it something else, so now they need a third name change. This is an infinite problem that will not go away if people dont protect their phones. So really the best bet is to just put it aside allowing those that are careful their phones to be ok and those that dont to have to just live with the problems that causes them. And really, those that are careless with their devices (that these days have our entire lives in them) are exposed to far bigger problems than a game name change.

One possible thing they could give those folks would be a one time option to revert to their old name. That would resolve for all the genuine 'somebody else did it' crowd (which sounds like the OP) but not the guys that are looking to erase their past or are struggling to adhere to long term choices.
