June Update - feedback time!

I have survived most of updates so far. Some i have liked, some not. But i have adjusted. I have been calming down my clanmates when they have ranted about updates, saying that we will get used to things or that value of upgrades will reveal themselves to us. BUT. This update gave me as war - oriented th10 nothing. Bh update gave me nothing, tbh. But i did not hate it either. I play bh, but have no feelings towards it. I am passionate to my home base progress and wars.

All this update gave to me was worse user experience, and headache when graphics got worse on my tablet.

I hope sc is not going Nokia way and get too arrogant to see what their customers need or want. Developers dont know best. Customers do.

A good option is to tweak the clock tower in such a manner that it can work like the star bonus- accumulates the time if not used and maybe the cap can be set for 2 or 3 days...

...but to be fair not even Steve Jobs would have nerfed the clock tower.

The update in general is good, but I think the BH 6 is a bit over powered on defense for both air and ground attacks. Getting 2 stars is now way harder than what it used to be, and adding the 5th army camp would've helpped. Overall, I like the update.

Edit: You can't see the difference with a 4 inch phone. Try to use a 10 inch tablet. Before the update you were able to see much more information. Now a tablet looks like a phone, just MUCH BIGGER. (like phones for kids or old people)

Agree with this. What annoys me is that you can see a much smaller amount of people in clans/less messages in chat/less on profiles. I'm fine with all the info screens being larger though.

Edit: I do have a few clanmates who much prefer the new UI. Makes it easier to see things.

Unfortunately older devices will struggle as the game is optimised for the current technology, many older iOS devices no longer even run the game. Use the time before the next update to save up for a newer, more powerful device.
Not much help I know, but it is just the way things go.

I might be able to get used to the new UI except in 2 instances.

1. The extremely large chat window that is very unpractical for my clan which is always extremely active.

2. The extremely large troop bar on the bottom when attacking which forces me to scroll to find my freeze spell and poison spell, let alone the poison spell from my CC.

So essentially the UI makes me less likely to

1. Donate troops/socialize with my clan mates

2. Raid/Participate in Wars

There was a reason I never used the game on my phone for anything other than donating troops. Simply put, I did not like the UI on my 5" phone. It gave me a poor user experience. Now SC forced me to use the UI that I did not like but was able to avoid by using my 10" tablet.

Apparently I am being told to get used to it or not play. If my two reasons for playing the game (socializing and attacking) now give me an inferior user experience, do you really expect me to get used to it?
