Why is everything so big?

Just with that screenshot, it looks "Normal" to me. You likely experienced some "up-sizing" with the update correct?, but I'm guessing your shop is still a 2x2 grid?

OK, got the link - if I make a 3/2/3/1 line message in chat, it will take up as much space as your screenshot.

I am focusing on the shop, as it's easiest to identify, but if you want to compare other elements that you believe are "Off" I'd be happy to compare screenshots of those as well as long as the kids keep behaving.

With your android or with your iPad? And what screenshot? The first or the second?

Do you agree that on my iPad image you can see 3 additional messages in comparison to my android device? Do you think this is how it's supposed to be? If yes, why? The screen of my android is much bigger, it should display more or at least the same amount of messages.

You can see this issue with all other gui elements, too. There are more players in my clan with an iPad, more players in the leaderboard with an iPad .... the window "you have been attacked", building info, settings, etc., they are all bigger on android.

Here are some before and after superimposed so you can see the difference.

It used to be more lines, similar to your Tab A (as your screenshot)

But the worst and most annoying is the troops/spell scrolling, 2 (dark) spells are out of range, used to be 1 with this formation

OK, I see that part now, I found an area of chat with the same amount of spaces, and I do get basically another whole chat block (2-3 rows) but... I think I also found why that happens.

1) My Samsung Tab A 9.7" is a 4:3 ratio (as is my iPad Air 2)
2) Your Note 10.1 is a 16:10
* Most Android phones are 16:9 as is the iPhone.

So when they adjust to be comparable, mine is basically 16:12 yours is 16:10 meaning although you have more screen space, the "adjusted" ratio they will display full screen in will still put "More" in my window top to bottom the short way. I wonder if all the effected devices are 16:10 - have to do some googling.

Sure, while I'm doing that, look at the .jpg link in this person's post and the 2 images in the post embedded in the post below it - those look "Normal" to me, but believe they are the "Group 3" folks I mentioned a few posts back, they did increase in size, but.... to the normal size I and many others have been used to forever. (I doubt those folks have the single row of defenses in their shop, they have just experienced upsizing... but not the SUPER HUGE UPSIZING).

I don't troll (well, maybe a time or two over my 5 years here). I really am here to help you guys, no matter how long it takes this old man for the lightbulb to go off.

Not 16:9 though (that's the phone aspect ratio) rather 16:10 which after a brief Google spree shows me that every model I've included in the list to the developers having issues are 16:10 devices.

So... I at least have some solid information to pass on - remember, I'm just a forum moderator (and not paid as a few of you keep suggesting) but will pass everything on to them I've found and leave it in their hands.
