Plea for reality: Dedicated Indian Global is not sufficient.

Global chat has been ignored for years. The development team admitted sometime ago that they were divided about it.

There are features needed for global:

1) rework the reporting function
2) filtering by various criteria
3) mute while in the clouds
4) blacklist for permanent mute and the ability to manage it.

there are features needed for to reach its potential:

1) more specialized globals
2) ability to do challenges on global. It will be great to settle arguments.
3) allow for longer posts.

please don't think that by simply adding an indian server that all threads about it will disappear. They will not. I am typing this before the update comes so that no one will say, "You already got the indian global, what else you want."

Skipping the generic message that this belongs in IFR,

Maybe they could just remove Global and add custom chatrooms into which you could add friends and all. Make the friend feature worth more than its current value.

Even though I have met and spoken to many wonderful Indian players (and Indian people in real life) I welcome the new global changes as it's almost impossible to have a conversation in English on global when I go on. I have even tried going on while India should be a sleep, but not always possible.

Well, hopefully the Indian global will work. I am still not sure how this is implemented. I am often in the Dutch global and a lot of times there is nobody speaking Dutch anymore and you see only Indians. I get however the feeling that this improvement is only done when Idians set their language to English and not to Dutch. Wel will have to see however if that is true.

I would really love to do challenges in global, not to settle arguments though, just for fun.

You are absolutely right but of course there are also normal people on Global who are looking for a nice clan or just a nice chat.

As a female let me tell you there is nothing worse than global. Biggest mistake I made was changing my name to an obviously female one.

Waynoo, I know what you mean. I often play on the account of my wife and you get into all kinds of strange conversations. I sometimes say that I am on the account of my wife and then it gets slightly better. Perhaps you can try that. ;)
