Sell everything you can make in your shop. Don't do trucks or boats. Wait for visitor event -- and check out this thread:

Filling your entire farm with trees and bushes is not a good idea unless you regularly have enough saws/axes to cut them down. Else you'll end up with a farm full of dead trees and nobody wants that. :) Any crops are good, but base them on how often you can check in. Wheat will most likely not sell well at max price, just so you know. Corn might be better.
Should you sell EMs? Hard to say. It's likely that you have a lot of one while you're waiting for that ONE of the other to finally show up, and in that case you CAN sell them. But don't sell them all, you'll need to upgrade your own barn/silo. :)
Bushes and trees work if you hire Tom for a day. Buy nothing but axes and saws. Plant in banks of 9 to match a Tom delivery of 9.
Unless you can produce Diamond Rings, then hire Tom and just buy them non-stop and sell high.
The best advice I could give you changes depending on the level you're in, because as your level increases, you can plant and produce more stuff. On the other hand, some cash cow products requires you to be at least at certain level, so you'll have to hold out until then.
A simple answer I could give you is grow the blackberry bushes to mass-produce blackberry muffins. Honey would be pretty good from Level 39 and above, but they require quite a micromanagement, as you'll need to check in every 35 minute or so.
Lemon trees, lemon curd, lemon pie and cakes really helped me get a lot of money. But you may not be at that level yet.
For me (below lvl 16 iirc), "bacon and eggs" works fine, as well as cheese and cookies. Then also pancakes; though I'd rather use the grill for bacon and eggs and the brown sugar for the cookies.
Keep your machines running constantly with anything you have supplies to make, and sell it all at max in your RSS. Everything sells eventually!
This would be the best and simplest advice I would give as well.
Idle machines and fields don't make any money.
This is will depend on how much time you play the game but the crops and products that make the most profit per hour are those that take the LEAST amount of time to grow(fields) or be produced in the machines.
If you're going to be away from the game for many hours, fill it with products that you expect will take about that much time to make. But if you're spending time actively playing the game, shorter time products and crops will make better money.
Dont hesitate to do the math to see for yourself. Some of think that's fun. :-)
If iyou have diamonds to spend, use them to add production slots in bakery, dairy and sugar mill first.
Spend very little on decor. You'll have lots of money for that later.
Try not to buy too much in the paper. That can keep you broke.
Happy Farming!
Buy low in newspaper sell high
Yes, absolutely sell in your shop before you sell to visitors, trucks, or boats. Shop prices are best, with only a few exceptions.*
In my early days I made and sold carrots. Lots of carrots. I sold them for just a few coins below max price, and they always sold out in less than 2 minutes. I also made lots of bread. You can make 10 bread in less than an hour and sell at max price easily. It's not glamorous, but it's actually more coins per hour than saving the bread to make, say, hamburgers.
If you have diamonds to spend, have Tom fetch you the most profitable item at your level and sell in your shop. Check this page on the HayDay wiki for a list: http://hayday.wikia.com/wiki/User_bl...Tom_for_profit
*Sometimes a visitor will ask for wheat, and they pay more than you can get in your shop. However, you can't really predict when they'll ask for it. You could end up with a ton of wheat that you'd have to sell very cheap.
