I know some players have been trying all kinds of things to get the Pearl of the Sea without any luck. I never thought I would find it so I didn't bother to try. But it popped up in a mystery net today! Here is the photo of it on my beach. Attachment 202818

Nice job! Sounds like it might be time to throw a couple of mystery nets out there. My 3 previous attempts turned me off of further attempts. Terrible hauls on those 3. I think the best was 3 fish, a Saw and a green voucher
I got one on the weekend in the bottom left, and one yesterday in topmost shortest time spot.
Congrats! I have tried many in the past, but all were unsuccessful so stopped trying.
Maybe I should have another crack...

Woo-Hoo! Got my first pearl of the sea. Same net had bb jam, 1 diamond and 3 fish. Maybe part of the birthday celebration is tweaked chances on the pearl?
Well, if my mystery net doesn't give me a pearl, at least I found 5 more diamonds so it's not a waste :P

I'm back at using a single mystery net each day. What the heck -- it might work!
I'm wondering with all the recent finds of The Pearl, if SC isn't coming up with another coveted mystery net catch. I caught my 2nd pearl 2 days after the first, in the same spot - the shipwreck.

I got him. First attent, in the spot by the waterfall. Yes yes yes, so happy.
I find your theory a bit flawed. Over the last 5 days I have dropped a total of 7 nets. The first day I dropped 3 - Shipwreck, waterfall and a deep water space. None dropped the next day. Day 3 - I dropped 3 more in the same spots. And day 4 - only 1 dropped in the shipwreck. I now have 3 pearls - all found in the shipwreck.Quote:

Momscar ya know I love ya, but I'm with Pix on this one. There's definitely something in the water this week, and for the first time I really do think that casting 12 nets is worthwhile. My three pearls were each found in different spots, and every time I cast my nets I found one.
SmallChange, I think you should try 12 at once. If doing one or two at a time you might get lucky, but it feels like SC has tweaked the pond this week -- it feels like the pearl is always in there somewhere. Just a gut feel, but a really really strong gut feel. :)

I haven't bothered with MN for months. I've spent/wasted so many diamonds in that lake and I had given up. Since the announcement that we have better odds I have blown 130 diamonds on nets.....please, please let me find one!
I dropped 2 nets: one in the shipwreck and one between the dragonflies and waterfall. I made a handful of mystery nets when they were first introduced, and after 3-4 EXTREMELY underwhelming returns, never dropped another. So I have had 2 in my tackle box for YEARS.
NOW they're fishing, and we'll see what I get.

Pix201A and ShepherdGirl, I guess the wording of my response was a bit hasty as well as being too darn early in the morning. I'm not saying that Pix's way wouldn't work, only that one does not need to drop 12 nets, at 5 diamonds per net. I only had 14 mystery nets made, so I personally would not want to drop 12 of them to come up with 1 pearl (before we knew of the increased possibilities).
Both ways seem to work, and one has to go with what suits their style of play.
