Just got a permit from one mystery box and a puzzle piece from the next mystery box what are the chances?
I now have 11 Puzzle Pieces
4 from boats
4 from Derby horseshoes
3 from free mystery boxes
Of the 11, one is a Hippo piece and 10 are for the Giraffe
I will not pay diamonds at all so I should get to 180 in around 40 weeks time.

My first friend is the Muddy Elephant.
My first three PP went to a different puzzle each, but the subsequent ones have all gone to the Brown Hippo, so it looks like SC took our comments on board about it taking way too long to see any kind of reward if they went to all 3 puzzles. Fab.
I am up to 7 now:
3 from boats
2 from red mystery boxes
2 from derby horsehoses
And 5 (five!) of those pieces go towards a HIPPO!
Update: This morning's boat was an easy one. I've already sent it off. Got another piece of the same puzzle: brown hippo.
It's looking like the maintenance adjusted the puzzle piece drop very nicely. Thanks SC!
I've gotten a few pieces towards the brown hippo. Wonder if this trend will continue! :)
I have 6 pieces so far.
My sanctuary animal is a hippo.
I have one piece for its mate.
One piece for an elephant.
The last 3 pieces, including the two from recent boats, are for the beige giraffe.
Even with the improvements to the animation of the giraffes, I would prefer to be forging ahead on the mate for my hippo. I would REALLY prefer to be able to choose the puzzle I want to complete.
Me too :) Being able to choose which puzzle to complete would add that element of strategic play and personal goal-setting and accomplishment that this update has COMPLETELY lacked.Quote:

I have a brown hippo, which is fine.
If I could have chosen, I would have preferred the muddy elephant next, but it looks like I'm going to get the other one.
It looks like it will take 4-5 months until we have more animals and the quality of the townies' gifts will improve.
