Wow. I really didn't think we'd make it! But it didn't occur to me that farmers would plants trees and bushes at the beginning of the event which would be available for hugs at the end of the event. I'll have to remember this if we ever have another help event!

considering the massive effort to get this statue, and the number of plants, axes, saws and vouchers used to obtain it, the 28th june should be a date celebrated for years to come, like armistice day, with flowers deposited at the foot of the statue every yearQuote:
