Boat scoring

My wife started hayday about a month before me.
but I recently passed her in the boat ranking. I am about 7000 pts, she is at 3500.
i am not sure how that is possible, since I wait for my boat to arrive so I complete about three a day.
she on the other hand, cannot wait, so she spends 5 diamonds to get her boat early.
expect she completes twice as many boats as I, but I am still ahead.

aware that you recover better points if u complete the boat early.
is itossible to know .... Maybe future upgrade to know how boats were completed.
maybe I completed more ontime ie within that 13 hour window than her.
