No more marker stakes?

Of course I meant "rarely". I get 3 times more stakes and deeds than I do mallets. I get twice as many bolts as planks. I get twice as many screws as nails and panels. It is random. But it once took me over 3 months to get one gold voucher. I play a lot, and while I know the gold are rare, a three month drought is extreme.

I just got a marker stake today!! So they are not completely gone but I do notice I strangely rarely get them unlike before when they were my most common LEM.

I go through phases. Planks are my rarest item. I'll go a week without one (and I play a LOT), and then I'll get five in one day. It's just how the game rolls....

Yikes! 3 months. And of course you can't trade vouchers. Well good on you hanging in there so long.

Obviously the more you play, the more drops you get, but my ratio between high, med & low is 'severe'.

The thing that SEEMS to help is selling my low item (stakes for you). I sometimes 'sell' a few of my lowest item (to a friend who then sells them back to me) & often I get a 'low' drop after that.

But honestly, come & join us on the trading thread. LEMS trade 1:1 & plenty of people trade their stakes. Start with small trades & make friends, then you'll have good trading partners & HD life is far more enjoyable.

I was about to suggest the same thing. I've noticed when I sell the item I get the least of, I start to get more. Also, it SEEMS to be this way for me as well. Although now that I've seen this, maybe it is this way.

As stated already it's different for everyone.

It rains Marker Stakes here, I often need to swap them for Mallets. Can never get enough Mallets.

I do enjoy the social aspects of the game. (Obviously, since I'm hanging out at the forum, too.) So I'm okay with the rarity of certain drops. Especially now that I know how to use the trading forum and KIK. Thanks to SmallChange and others who walked me through that process in PMs. This is a truly remarkable community.
