Has your Sanctuary Animal rewarded you yet?

I have fed and woken mine 5 times now, and NADA.

Has anyone gotten a drop from waking their sanctuary animal yet?

I was expecting a drop for each wake-up or 2 at least, like I get for my regular pets. Is this a glitch, or is this how they work?

And can I just say that I get (don't :heart:, but get) that donkeys who can be woken up every hour give 25xp per wake-up (I remember when they were nerfed -OUCH! https://forum.supercell.com/showthre...Donkey+reduced).

For a pet that can only be woken up every 10 hours, 25xp is a joke - Horses give several times that amount of xp, and you can wake them every 6 hours.

No item drops yet from my Hippo, just keep getting the 25xp.

I'm starting to think they won't give us bonus items, as we get the reward from the townies.

It makes the feeding element nothing much more than a wheat dump (which is appreciated mind you)

Same here mate I fed my giraffe for 4 times for x25 XP each time that's all from the Giraffe no tools dropped. Just got a axe from an sanctuary visitor.

I am only getting XP too.

i've only had to wake mine 3 times (i'm not much of a pet person), and nothing but the 25 exp. he is a giraffe, though i doubt that matters.

Not yet either. Daisy, my hippo lol, just gives me exp. I'm thinking maybe when we have two of the same species we might get a drop? Works this way with the farm pets. Let's wait and see ☺️

I'm going to do an experiment tomorrow to see if these animals have pet point values of zero (see myso's thread). They may very well not act like pets, and may not thefore figure into that system.

I am confused because we were told the "feed the animals and be rewarded," BUT my paw print townies dropped a plank and a bolt even when Hippolita was asleep. So, from a purely rewarded-focused perspective, why feed and wake her anymore?

Don't get me wrong: I love my hippo, but is the only hippo reward 25xp, or is there a glitch here?

That is indeed the question, while I am happy to get the 25xp and extra ability to dump wheat; for many that reward probably isn't good enough. Especially compared to other pets such as Horses as you rightly pointed out.

Edit: Another theory, let us know what happens after the 6th feed perky.

Currently there are 6 Sanctuary animals in total, maybe it has a new formula feed them all (6 feeds) for a bonus item?

Sorry if I sound cranky but I've finished with the sanctuary now. Or for now?

1. @ 25xp twice a day, yawn my elephant is staying asleep.

2. Jigsaw pieces random and scarce - and nothing to do to be done with them anyway.

(where's the game in that? Can't work boats to get one, can't work the townies to get one, can't choose which animal to collect, don't have to find where the piece goes, might have to wait for 90 rare jigsaw pieces or more for my next animal? )



I am hoping something gets debugged or altered. Until then....sanctuary closed. Not complaining, I've given up on that, just sayin'.

On a semi related note, this was one of my townie rewards after they saw my Hippo.
