Where are the puzzle pieces

Got 2 the first day and now nothing this is beyond ridiculous 15 boats later and not a single piece. None in chests, none on the wheel, where are they at.

The visitors that come to your farm should pay in puzzle pieces, (coins are useless when your level 110 and have over 3 million coins) the task board should pay in puzzle pieces.

I just can't believe you guys can't come up with better ways to give us these pieces in fact expansion permits are ridiculous as it is. Your making them to hard to earn at this rate you must want us to quit playing.

Maybe post in the Ideas & Feature Requests Forum about suggested new ways to find puzzle pieces?

They don't exist. Pretty sure everyone got 2 boats in the beggining and that's it. Many players including myself have gone through 50+ boats without a single puzzle piece one. Supercell claims this is normal. 😑😑

I only have one so far. But there is one in my derby horse shoes!

A forum member stated that they contacted support and they informed he/she that the low spawn rate is normal. They than informed Supercell that MANY members are experiencing this issue and they informed he/she that they would escalate it. I will gladly provide you proof of this since you're claiming that I am a liar.

On a positive note, it sounds like from what AussiePrincess said that Supercell could still be looking into the matter, since they are escalating her concern. That could be an encouraging sign. Supercell stated to her that the drop rate was "random," but perhaps they didn't realize it is low for so many people. So they could still tweak the drop rate, especially if enough people send them support requests and post in this Bugs Forum thread. To my knowledge, we don't know yet what the normal drop rate is, since this update is so new and there may be some bugs to be ironed out.

beyond ridiculous, same here, first day 2 puzzle pieces, then absolutely nothing. Done boats opened chests...nothing. Sort it out hay day. No good having these new additions when it's so difficult to get the puzzle pieces, it's all down to luck. We should be able to work towards getting them. Same with the expansion items. Pure chance if u happen to get deeds stakes and mallets. Taking forever grrrr

It's supposed to take time. I just got my achievement for the neighborhood trading post, and that was 1 year ago! I am hoping it doesn't take that long to get one more sanctuary animal, but it is entirely possible. I have one puzzle piece so far. One. In three days. Think long game. It isn't supposed to drop in our laps!

A puzzle piece, a duct tape, and two shovels just showed up as the third horseshoe. I already got 2 pieces from completing 2 boats.

Puzzle pieces are non existent. I've done boats for two days and not one piece. Considering the amount needed to complete an animal and that there are five animals to complete at this rate it will take years. If SC thinks that this is a good idea they are sadly mistaken. One looses interest if one doesn't get something sometimes. One piece every two or five boats would be a good idea. Good one SC another useless update.

People are more than entitled to ask for the source, no need to get your bristles up.

'Someone said' does not make it fact.

'Help & Support' are NOT 'Supercell'. To be frank, most of them wouldn't know if they were on fire. Nothing they say can be relied upon.

People want answers from Supercell, currently represented here by Frisco.

I'm starting to think something is amiss here too, I got 2 of them quite quickly at the start of boating; nothing since.

And the thing is, I don't even want to do a boat anymore unless it has a puzzle piece. This update has successfully got me sending less boats away - I don't think SuperCell really want that now do they?

Same problem here,
first day update I got 2 jigsaws (so fast).
But then , after sent many many boat...
Now, no any puzzle piece....

I had a boat docked at the update. Seems like I fit the pattern... 1st and 3rd after update were puzzle piece boats, next day one found in open red chest, 2 offered as derby rewards.

Ah,good to know I'm not alone in only having one puzzle piece,was thinking that others would be filling their puzzle books up months before I did, especially given my intense dislike of boats!

Prior to the Wildlife Sanctuary update, I didn't do boats unless it was a double voucher event because my pet collection is complete. After the update, I go to the dock every time I login to see if the next boat is a puzzle boat.

I have also noticed the lack of puzzle pieces, but I find that the slower you build up to something, the better it feels to get it. Everyone has their own playing styles, people who play slowly are going to be fans of this:)

I don't mind the slow grind either.

But we knows Boats are a possible way to get them, and yet all players have been unable to get more than two. Even those doing hundreds of boats!

That is where the problem lies, why even bother adding them to boats with such low odds?

Longer this goes on the more frustrated players will get. Bug needs to be fixed or SuperCell need to come clean on why boats are been so oppressive.

2 from claiming last weeks Derby threshold rewards after the update was released
2 found by supplying 2 of the first 4 boats since the update - which it looks like everyone got
1 from a mystery box found in the sea off the town and opened for free - I refuse to pay to open any mystery boxes.

One thing I have been wondering though is:- Are the puzzle pieces animal specific? For example let's dream on that in a years time I actually complete my second elephant puzzle (I have one elephant as a starter gift) and then win another puzzle piece what happens if it is another elephant piece? - is that piece lost or will I then only get hippo and giraffe pieces?

My understanding:

*The puzzle pieces ARE animal specific, BUT you can ONLY get pieces for puzzles that are unlocked.

*You should NEVER get duplicate puzzle pieces.

*Once you complete an animal puzzle and get the animal, you should NEVER get more puzzle pieces for that specific animal.

In your example: once you fill the 2nd elephant puzzle, you should not get another elephant puzzle piece. Similarly, let's say you have 2 hippos and 2 elephants in your sanctuary, you should get nothing but giraffe pieces from then on.

I, too, am disappointed. I was more excited about the new wildlife area than any update in ages. Trust SC to screw it up, as usual. The first 4 days I got one puzzle piece a day. Nothing since. At this rate it will be way more than 6 months to get them all. I, too, hate boats, but did 2 for the puzzle pieces. Nothing since the first day. I found the other 2 in paid for mystery boxes. Hundreds of diamonds later and not another one. I'm done paying for mystery boxes. The greed and poor programming have ruined yet another update. WTG SC, you are at least consistent in something!

I have also had one townie who wanted to visit an animal I dont have and therefore left nothing. Of the extra gifts left only one was a helpful mallet. Most are town exp items I dont need or mining tools I already have hundreds of. Sigh.

You will be able to see your puzzle pieces fill in your book exactly as you get them - in fact when you get a new one, your book will lay open until you click on it and then it shows you where the piece went.

I do wish it would fill only one puzzle piece at a time - but I've managed to get more pieces than most folks, so I'm not complaining. By waiting to claim my derby winnings until after the update, and shuffling once, I now have 8. Only 2 from boats though - the rest were red boxes and horseshoes. Right now they have filled 5 pieces to one puzzle and 3 to another.

Sounds like the same for me. Two puzzle boats right away, on that Monday I claimed my derby reward after the update, did a few shuffles and got two more. I have opened every mystery box since Monday and have received two. No more boxes for me.

I was was excited for the sanctuary, but this is really disappointing.

One third of the events are about filling boats, one third about filling trucks.

one could expect the town will have a little bit more attention in the update. The idea of settling the sanctuary in the town seemed to point the intention of SC To redynamize the town. Great idea! Well not.

Behalve going to town to wake up your animal every 10h and gaining a few XP there is not much to do. And spending hours looking at him dusting the savana or getting mud bath, well it will fast become a new kind of boring.
serving townies to receive puzzle pieces would have been a nice way to encourage the farmers in playing more town but in its present form i find it useless.
The townies with the paw print poorly reward you with tools or money (the cash amount is just small joke).
I am not sure that the players that were not convinced about serving townies being worth for a mallet will change their mind if they receive a second one.
so to get puzzle pieces we have to do more boats or just the good ones if they want to show up. Or wait for the unexpecting one poping in chest (well no ! Remember i also expect 30 more permits in those ones!)

I am certainly disappointed about the update even if i originally find the idea very good ( and still find it good!) I just have the feeling the realisation is not well adapted.
completing the puzzle at moderate speed (i consider gaining one to Three pieces a day will be an acceptable rate) will just take us more or less 5 months to unlock the 5 remaining animals. But the sanctuary is an expandable idea. Just bring in a few months the monkeys, gorillas, rhinocéros, zebra, phacochère, kangaroo, panda, koala, lynx, tiger, whales, dolphins, and so on.... the list has no end. you will have us in game for many more years SC!

so there was a very good idea to bring the sanctuary in town. But think about rewarding us with puzzle pieces also with serving townies and bring it more often than two on three days (my third piece is waiting for me until monday on my derby rewards).

I was gonna ask what happened to the puzzle pieces. I got 2 for the beige giraffe and now it hasn't appeared for two whole days, so far! Where's the pieces?

I have gotten six pieces so far all together. Seems like an OK rate to me. They are rare and that's good. My thinking might change if there will never be any more from boats. It is a nice idea to get them from boats now and again but I haven't seen any since the two in the beginning like everybody else.

Has it been fixed in the maintenances today? Has anybody got a puzzle piece since?

I haven't and I haven't yet seen any information from Supercell, that this problem has been or is being adressed. :confused:

Maybe there is no problem but they are limited to two per week or something like that. If you could get them by calling boats in early, the boat leader board people would probably have all the animals by now. Maybe we can expect some more this week.

I'm more annoyed that we are being completely ignored on this issue than I am that we aren't getting any PPs. Then to be told we are 'impatient' ...grrrrrr

I haven't played the derby. But I have called in boats every 4 hours since Tuesday. I have had 2 altogether and have opened mystery boxes religiously. I have joined a hood to do derby so I can hopefully get some more even though I don't like doing the derby.

Why people so puzzled about no puzzle pieces?

Interest in Derby was getting smaller past months after people obtained last achievement and got statue. Less interest is less people buying diamonds to speed tasks. Then next move was expand land and make new item: scrolls. Only way to find scrolls: do Derby and shuffle rewards or open tool chests all day long. When people not interested as much as they hoped in spending diamonds for more land, they create sanctuary. Only way get puzzle pieces, do Derby and spend diamonds to spin or spend diamonds to open chests. It is a business plan. You want more than few everyone gets, you have to spend. Many won't I think. But many will to get another animal that gives you 25xp for feeding. It doesn't change game. If you in hurry, then buy. If you not worried, then play game and enjoy.

I know many player who bought a lot of diamonds to get scrolls.

And they are happy now.


But if you read there are puzzle boats and you speed up boats with diamonds and one week there is no third puzzle boat,
than you won't buy more diamonds to speed up boats...


To frustrate buyer can't be a business plan // I hope so :-)

I not say it was a "good" business plan for us except it makes people spend weekly to shuffle prizes in Derby. It would be poorer plan for company if you get by speeding up boats to get more. Once all pieces obtained no more revenue. Best business plans provide consistent income not spike for few weeks. And even frustrated players will spend diamonds to shuffle. So it works for the company, no?
