Every event is a wall event. Take the 90% you save on troops and spells and put it towards your walls.

I wouldn't hold your breath hoping for direct discounts on walls
No way! Walls have already been made too easy. First, the elixir for walls update and then the reduced level 10 cost. I would not support making walls any easier unless they release several more levels for 5+ million a piece.
And all the players who have spent years farming those millions maxing walls, will cry out after hearing about the event! Too big a discount. We have been discounted in several updates.
