Not receiving puzzle pieces from boat?

I just did, asking if this was normal -- and calling it lame if it is! I also mentioned that no one seems to be paying attention over here.

Reporting it in game is a colossal waste of time. The staff there wouldn't know if they were on fire.

SC is a multi million dollar company, they need to employ someone INTERESTED & COMPETENT at problem solving & let all the arty guys get on with that side of things.

Mind you, I'm disappointed with that side of things too. The Elephants look like they're ice skating and the Sanctuary animals ALL look sad and or grumpy. Why?!

Laugh! I don't actually expect a response from SC -- I merely confirmed that it's been *reported*. Ha ha ha. I freakin' love your posts. I sometimes get the feeling we'd either be great friends or the best of enemies! ;)

And the animals look sad because they're lonely. There are at least 36 puzzle pieces between them and a friend!

Same here ... only collected 3 puzzle pieces (inclusive of 2 from boat) ...
... I can see 2 in my derby rewards ...

I was thinking the Expansion Permit were rare ... but I found 'better' :straightface:

Frankly, I think my Elephant is sad that he has to spend the rest of his life in a tiny space, which he might have to share one day, eating *wheat* & practising ice skating - talk about feeling like an idiot! Poor fella.

Only 2 pieces on the 1st and 3rd boat.

Have 1 piece in horseshoes.

Nothing in mystery box ...

I do keep finding people in the DD asking help with boats that contain puzzle pieces. So that's odd.

Ditto on the puzzle piece drop rate. With 180 pieces, we need to be receiving a minimum of 2 a day to keep the sanctuary goal interesting. At that rate it would take 3 months to complete all puzzles. At the current drop rate it would easily take 6+mos waaaaaay too long - especially since the pieces are random and we will likely complete all of them about the same time. Well, if ever, at this rate.

Looks like this issue has been fixed. I have done 8 boats since derby started and received 2 puzzle pieces so far.

People have reported the same pattern as last week - 1st and 3rd boats of the day, then nothing after that. So maybe it's not a glitch, but a pattern.
