Why no puzzle pieces??? No land permits??? About to quit playing.
Same for me. I've gotten 2 puzzle pieces from boats at first but no boats have them since.
Cmon Frisco answers please! Also the top request on Facebook at the moment.
There are apparently at least a few people getting regular puzzle boats. One of my in game friends has had 4 or 5 the last few days. Every other boat I help her with yesterday and today is a puzzle boat. However, when I go to her town, her puzzle book shows no pieces, not even for the free animal, but she is finishing the boats. All animals show 0 of 36 pieces needed. Some farms I can see which pieces people have received and others show nothing.
Edited to say that if you see a puzzle book in someone's town with nothing in it, use the handcar to exit to the farm and then go back to the town. The pieces should then show
I just helped another puzzle boat from DD and could not see any pieces in their book, including the free animal. The people whose books show the free animal and the 2 or 3 pieces received are apparently those that are no longer receiving pieces, and those whose books show no pieces and no full puzzle for the free animal (at least when I view the book) are still receiving pieces? Maybe nothing, or could help figure out the bug, if anyone from SC is even looking for one. I'm on an android device.

This kind of thing drives me NUTS. Glitches are inevitable, it's the total lack of communication that makes me feel like throwing the towel in. Every damn update this happens. Why can't a multi million dollar company employ people who actually deal with the Bugs?

Not to sound like a broken record, and I agree that it is frustrating the Supercell are not responding here, but are people reporting the issue through the game to Customer Support? I think at this stage that is the only way they will see it is a major issue and not just a problem with the few players who have reported it.
