Hi, after quitting a hood because I seems to be the only one playing derby and helping neighbours, i have playing a hood alone but playing in the champions league alone is no fun at all. So i decided too closed my Hood and looking for some new active neighbours to have fun with!

Tasks at 300+, opt out is OK. No jacked up rules. No drama. By allowing tasks at 300 and up, we don't have the crushing, no task problem like those requiring 315+. We still get those extra prizes for 1-3rd placement, but without the mind numbing board stalking.

We are a serious derby hood currently 25 strong, levels 135-75 and spread worldwide, super helpful but everyone pulls their weight - no freeloading! So we allow opt outs for real life stuff but opted in is our default setting. We expect everyone to do 10 tasks and deliver a minimum of 3150, most aim higher of course, last week with 21 opted in we did 210 tasks at an average of 318.4 - this is our normal level of performance.
We like gold, we have 74 gold trophies to date, winning is what we like to do. This year there has been only one week when we didn't get gold - because an unscrupulous new player quit on us halfway through the Derby. We were previously top 200 for a long period and it would be nice to ge back there if we can increase our hood size again.
Team work is our big thing, courteous behaviour, please and thank you is our norm. We don't accept people people grabbing loads of quick and easy tasks, somebody has to do the nasty ones too! we ask that for the first half of the derby, people limit themselves to 2 or at most 3 tasks per day - giving everyone a chance to get a decent start. Seeing somebody finished in 48 hours when others haven't completed a single task is demoralizing, it is normal for team members to leave things like help and mining on the board for others, if they have already completed a few tasks themselves. Our hood motto is "my barn is your barn", ask for any help you need, offer any help you can.
We aren't derby fascists with lists of complex rules, nobody is chased to do tasks, everybody just does their bit for the team without drama! First and foremost we have a strong team first ethos. Our aim is to have fun, Derby hard and win trophies. We all play this game to relax and have fun, people in the hood are comfortable with our balance of competitive and fun.
With the exception of the extra task, they're your diamonds so spend them as you like. No requirement for Tom, rushing boats, or turning over the board - though you are welcome to do any of those if you like to. Your goods so sell them whatever price you like, we don't have any poor little farms that need sponsoring with cheap goods.
We are trying to use the birdhouse more for crops to help people get the generous neighbour achievement, but we are happy for people to use it however they like. Request if you like, donate if you like. If you're chasing the achievement, just ask and people will request stuff for you to fill.

Please consider joining our neighbourhood. We are mostly from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Caribbean, and only chat in English. Having members from all timezones, means there is nearly always someone online to help and chat. We are in the Champions League, but we actively encourage members to Opt Out, so we compete against other neighbourhoods of similar sizes.
